Those alfredo bannister is awesome. You can actually lace them up on the inner layer and wear it zip down to make it look more interesting

Great vid man! Love those CCP boots. The thing that makes horsebutt leather so nice is the way it ages. It rolls instead of creasing like cow leather If you’re looking for some new boots or just some inspiration … you should check out: Viberg service boots, John Lofgren engineers (better than visvim imo) and Clinch/Brass Tokyo boots (super expensive but immaculate works of art) and if you’re interested in handmade in America heritage boots, White’s, Nick’s and Wesco are all great options too for $500 - $600 range

I have a pair of Ro Search (72), Addison (75), wolverines (90's), two pairs of Addison (04), and another pair of Addison (08). I found the boots from the seventies on ebay new never been worn. One of the Addisons from 04 was issued to me while on deployment aboard the USS Nimitz, those started it for me and they're my favorite but I never wear them. I want to keep them all original for sentimental reasons. The other pair of Addison from 04 is my everyday wear. The Addison from 08 is brand new never been worn and they're going to replace my everyday boots when they wear out.

Definitely always wanted a pair of wallabees but the sole always turned me off. I believe they make a gotetex version with a vibram sole though👀

Also I have a question about how do you go about leather care, esp for you Guidis and CCP as you don’t want to compromise the color

I usually don’t go with any mink oil or any care product known to darken or change the color of the boot. Leather conditioner once dry does not change the color of the boot! As for suede, I don’t really condition suede, just a suede brush and cleaning has held my shoes up
