I'm trying to loosen up a bit haha because it helps with alphas but I'm struggling

Knotting tightly is all I seem to be able to do, it's easier to control the size of the knots that way

I always knot really loosely because I like that it makes the bracelet a bit bigger :)

When I attempted my first chevron i cut two strings for each color and then folded them in half so I ended up with like a 16 stringed chevron that ended up looking nothing like a chevron 😂

I loved the chatty style of this vid! It’s so relatable that you have lost your first bracelets. When I started out I didn’t realise how much of a hobby this was going to be or that patterns existed!

I knew how to make chevron bracelets since elementary school, and last year I learned how to make patterns. Last night I finished my first pattern bracelet, and I learned how to make it adjustable! I usually give up but I now feel inspired to make more! Your part of the reason so thank you!!

Masha you should use the second couples bracelet for the stay at home challenge as one of the intermediate or advance bracelet.

Wow… because of you in only 7 months, I’m at where you got to in 11 years, (with your break) but I’m amazed how much you’ve taught me, I watch your videos all the time, I remember where I started, I gave up on finished a full bracelet and did random knots lol now I’m so so happy how far I’ve come

I love watching your videos! I have been making friendship bracelets for 9 years now. I have noticed the same thing, my bracelets used to be super stretchy and they were really thick because I didn’t pull tight on the string. Now my bracelets are tight and stiff and much neater. Thank you! Keep creating!

It would be fun to see the progress of your alphas as well! I remember my first bracelet. I had made a 4 strings pink candy stripe. It was not bad interestingly enough. I was always good at keeping up with patterns. However, my knots are much tighter now. I've been making them for somewhere around 9 years.

I remember trying to make some “fancy” ends to my bracelets. I just made knots on the end strings. When I tried to put it on, it got stuck on my wrist! And that was also the first time I ever wore my bracelets

I remember 4 months ago when I started making bracelets they looked HORRIBLEEE I had huge holes everywhere and I was very unmotivated when I saw everyone make pretty braclets, but 4 months later I mastered alphas and I'm very proud of them, moral of the story is, its okay to make mistakes and your bracelets won't be perfect!!
