Sometimes "cheaper" is not always the answer. It was time to say goodbye to my budget Amazon Strut Bars in place of something better! This time around, we're doing it RIGHT with DC Sports One-Piece Carbon Steel Strut Bars. Less Flex, Better Handling, Papa John's.
While many of the mods on my Honda Civic are budget oriented, others are worth spending a little more on. With my Amazon/eBay Strut bars constantly coming loose, I was in search of a SOLID one-piece design. Did the cheap option make a difference? Absolutely. But the CS-2 bars have drastically raised the bar (get it). So we're trying this again, with hopefully a better long-term solution for making the Honda Civic handle better with my supporting suspension mods.
Whether you own a Honda Civic or something else entirely, I personally think strut bars are still an overlooked add-on that absolutely make a difference. On lighter cars, you'll notice a better "turn in" feeling, as well as displacement of bumps in the road. You WILL feel the difference within the wheel, but whether you push the car hard enough to notice the other differences is up to you. So in today's video I show you how to install the strut bars (easy) with my thoughts along the process. My carpet cutting could have been a bit better, but not the worst thing I've done.
