The classic '80s ones are like 3.75-4" tall (think GI Joe or Star Wars regular-sized), while some newer ones (still have a Princess Adora with hard hair) are in the 6" range (like Toy Biz's Marvel or Xena). The larger later ones are 1/2 the size of Barbies (11.5"), Xena (12") or Jem (12.5").

Haha so that did happen! I was just telling my best friend that I always wondered if somebody somewhere in the 80s actually played He-man and She-ra together as brother and sister. I think that would have been so much fun as a child. I never had a little sister and was afraid to ask for these as a boy growing up...which was stupid bc my mom would not have cared. She loved MOTU. I love the idea of a spin off directed at a female audience and the idea of little girls and boys coming together in a fantasy land for high adventure! lol

Same! I just watched the first episode of the 80s She-Ra and I already love it. I want all of the toys. I've been watching He-Man and I want all of those too. Those shows deffinetly did their job didn't they? 😂

I still have all my She-ra dolls and the horses and accessories. I even have the Sea-harp horse. I used to have the crystal falls and crystal castle but my stepfather threw them away on me.

Maybe we can see the He-man collection? Maybe any other collectibles. Maybe a quick tour of all your major collectibles. The 80s had all the high quality toys. Now everything is about saving money, cheaper materials and limited suply to raise the demand. Remember the 80s when you could find everything you're looking for. Except Christmas, so hard to get anything during Christmas. Nice collection though. I myself have Robotech, Voltron and G.i. joes. A lot of hard to find stuff.

I have a 6 shoebox full of music CDs I own. I still buy physical copies of rock music, video games, anime, and manga that I do not need to be always online to enjoy them, and I can be able to get the uncensored version that I can find. I can choose to resell the copies in good condition if I wanted to. You can not do that with digital purchases. I only buy digital if they are cheap and only available on digital. I am glad I bought the WaveGroup Guitar Hero albums.

Wonderful! My sister never collected more than the original She-Ra toy, but she wanted all of them. I, personally, had Hordak, Grizzlor, and Mantenna, plus about five or six Horde Troopers (it was awesome seeing you having one of those) but the one I wanted was Bow... never could find him in the stores.

I've started watching the classic He-Man a while ago. I want to get into She-Ra soon. (I'm 20, 21 in a few weeks). He-Man makes me so happy and oddly nostalgic eventhough I didn't grow up watching it. I'm sure She-Ra will give me the same feeling. I would love to start my own collection.

I'm making a comic with a female protagonist fighting an evil alien empire, and if it ever get's a toy line, she's gonna have brushable hair, and her brush can attach to her weapon.

Made me look in my old collection of toys I had as a kid. I think I have that skirt in the box I made out of plastic canvas. Not sure what its condition is though. Lost a lot of the toys to the next door neighbor's kid, but I kept my shera dolls and I have that purple horse with its saddle and wings too. Its not a big collection though.

This reminds me so much of my mom who is 49 and the two OG SheRa dolls she still has. She grew up in the Soviet union and due to family members in other countries she managed to get to watch SheRa and was totally in love with it. She told me how her classmates visited her to watch together.

Thanks for sharing Geeky, My sister and I loved He-Man and She-Ra in the 80s and I still do to this day. I used to have the Masters of the Universe Castle Grayskull play set, He-Man w/Battle Cat which was my favorite & Teela of course, Skeletor. This video brings back so many memories.

This brings me a lot of nostalgia to me. I had all the dolls, but the pink cat and 2 of the crystal swiftwind. Also the castle and the mermaid fountain. I was really a big fan of she-ra (And still am of the original). Through the years the toys get lost, give to charity, but I foun glimmer and catra in the house a couple of years ago.

The Classic ladies, all of them have brushable hair but are 'optional' to do so. The current makers of She-Ra and He-Man care only to platform and the Toy Merch is in Limbo. (The classics and updated classics are being released with earnest, few for the new ones.)

Nice collection! I didn't grow up with She-Ra or the toys because I was a toddler when it was on. Favorite show for me back then was Fraggle Rock. But, the creativity in the 70s, 80s, and 90s toys was amazing. There have been a few doll lines since then that had creativity. Monster High being the main one. MGA seems to be the most creative toymaker now, but nothing compared to 70s-90s with the 80s being the crowned jewel. I collect and restore My Child dolls from the 90s. I also have a collection of Pound Puppies. And I have most of my toys from my childhood. I was pretty good at keeping up with all the parts to my stuff too, so that's great. Your channel makes me want to watch the original He-Man and She-ra. I've never seen any of the Masters of the Universe stuff. But, I am buying Hallmark's Castle Grayskull ornament next month. I collect a lot of Christmas ornaments.

That is a great collection. I had a bunch of He-Man figures when I was a kid but the only figures I had from Shera was hordak and a couple of his henchmen. I had Hurricane Hordak, Leech and Mantenna.

From the cartoon episodes I watched (which I barely remember), I don't remember seeing much of the other girls aside from the intro where She-ra says "Me and the Freedom Rebellion...". Catra because she's one of the villains. There's also that short granny witch.

Oh, so that's why my Swiftwind was transparent and pink. I had no idea it was a "crystal" variant when I was a kid; just that it was Swiftwind, and didn't look like the show, but I loved him anyway.

This is very cute and endearing. Definitely a big fan of Mrs Geeky, but this actually makes me even more of a fan than I already was. Just something about showing off a collection and being proud of it. I lost all my stuff long ago, I use to have a fantastic Lego collection. Sometime I hope you and RetroBlasting did a live stream together, and discuss collecting and some of these old classic shows. I feel like that would be pretty great, they have tons of stuff that you might be interested in hearing about.

Oh man, talk about nostalgia. I remember playing with some of those. I had Catra, She-ra, Castaspella, Bow, Glimmer, Angella and the horses. The crystal ones were my favorites. I vaguely remember Catra's lion, but I thought in was a panther so I might have had Panthor from the He-man line instead. Or I'm just remembering wrong. I don't know what happened to any of them. I think they were sold off cheap at garage sale or given away.

I completely understand. I'm a Power Rangers fan. I don't complain just to complain. I collect the Figures. I have different Figures from MMPR, Zeo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Dino Thunder, S.P.D., and Beast Morphers. I also have different Morphers from different series. So I can understand being a fan and being frustrated by others trying to ruin.

Regarding he-man/revelations, the channel Spector creative was the brand manager for the motu classics. He did a video 4 days ago, the battles of master of the universe pt:4 in which he discusses how teela is the new hero or the Netflix show. A lot of good info on the motu brand

The only I had was Bow back then. These days I have the classic line She-Ra and Bow :) I always pair Bow with skinny Adam from the reboot :P Boy the little prince is really a ver :P

"Plus size" and "petite" are euphemisms, but your comment does match the mindset of terrorists online. Dinosaurs can be plus-sized. "Petite" is French for "small", like a 4 feet standing child or a 2 feet fish.
