It's cool that you did this. Seems like a lot of the coming out videos are to one extreme or another, either cheering people on to come out to anybody and everybody or scaring them to death to not come out to anybody at all. Setting an example of having people figure out their own comfort level and going on that is a great message because every situation is different. For many of us who are a bit older than you, there wasn't much of an option but to be in the closet to everybody. Glad things have changed to the point where you have a choice.

You have a compelling story. You are the most confident person. You don't show any weaknesses, like you don't give a fuck about what people think especially when someone fowl mouthed you and you were ready to fight. And your mom (thumbs up for being supportive )

I have never told anyone I'm gay, but twice it has come up with a close friend and an enemy. Both times all I did with my strait friend is sob uncontrollably and he hugged me and said don't worry. We've never actually talked about it but he gives me these smirks when i notice a hot guy. Then the girl tried to blackmail me with the info. At first I ran away and again sobbed uncontrollably. Later that night I went to her house and confronted her and we yelled it out massively. Something I said must have clicked or something cause she moved away and never told a soul as far as I know.

And if you live in a small town and your think your parents will freak, wait till you're out of high school, too. Hey Eric, Thank you for making this video. I'm bi and came out like 2 weeks ago.I've told my mom/dad and my family we have 4 kids. Everyone's been accecpting of it. It was really hard to tell my mom/dad. Tomorrow I have a Dr. check up I have to tell him and Monday I'll haveta tell my Psych Dr. he'll be fine with it. I'm kinda nervous to tell both Dr's.
