I'm not the only person to say this. But the first part, where "Matchstick" is stealing all the cat discs, is insanely similar to the disc Saga. Just switch Matchstick and Bellyface's roles, and add a lot more trauma and gaslighting.

my headcanon involves the alternate reality system from Passerine (an AU fanfic where it's set up so that the actual DSMP is another reality in the same universe), so in my headcanon this is definitely one of the realities.
