My daily feeding schedule for Hide and Nyx. People ask my why I make them stay in the house while I feed? Several reasons. 1) It keeps them from jumping on you. 2) Nothing more irritating than a dog knocking the feed pan out of your hand while diving neck deep into the bowl. 3) Basic discipline is a foundation block in the enjoyment of hound hunting for me.

Hey Nick just wanted to let you know I've been listening to your podcast for the past 6 weeks or so while at work and I love it. I was pretty far behind and didnt know what happened with the change in the podcast until today but I just wanted to say I really appreciate all you guys do and Brent as well. what kind of wood do you have in the floor of there kennels i have been wanting to get my dogs up off the dirt

These are 5.5ft x11ft pallets made of solid oak. I got them for free and out 2 together for each Kennel. These pallets are what new plastic septic tanks cone on to my local plumbing supply company. But they give them away for free.

Hey mate I ask this question with respect cos I know there is often a good reason. How come you dont have the back fence raised 2inch (60mm here in Aus) so the poo washes of the platform and onto the ground where you could scoop up and take away? Beautiful looking hounds mate and well behaved.. Much love from Down Under Australia

It actually is but leaves are falling here right now and have it clogged. I blow them out every couple days but hadn't hadn't when filmed this. 95 percent of the year it's not an issue.

What % protein are you feeding and about how much per day? I’ve got a walker male that’s a bit of a hard keeper. He’s long and lanky and I would like to put a little more weight on him.

This is what I feed, about 4 cups per dog per day. You may want to get a higher protein and fat if he stays lanky. www.specialty-feeds.com/valu-pak-24-20.html
