We made a wall mounted version of this out of an old skateboard deck a few years ago. It helped our roomba be able to clean underneath the bowls without sloshing the water bowl.

The best height for dog bowls is about shoulder height for them. It helps prevent stomach torsion. In case you ever make another DIY like this.

I was kinda surprised she didn’t take advantage of it being a bench to cut it down to the perfect height. But still super cute! And I’m glad you said something that a lot of us seem to be thinking.

Yeah, my lab mix needs his at shoulder height for those neck and stomach issues. I thought about that. Also, felt feet pads under the legs. Maybe she can screw part of the old legs back on with all thread, paint and Bob's your uncle.

This was so adorable! The only thing I worry about is that Mod Podge is water based and will get gummy and wrecked when sloppy Kenobi is drinking water. Please consider spraying with a shellac or other non-water based sealer to keep it looking fantastic for a long time. More Kenobi content would be great!

This is awesome! I'm sure Kenobi loves it! One thing I would suggest for the mat is finding some non-toxic paint and stamp his paw print or outline his paw print so you can use it as a stencil. You could even upload it as a design in your Cricut! I lost my dog in September and still can't get over it. Having things like that would really mean a lot!

Full disclosure here, I’m always amazed at your patience in not skipping any steps, I mean if I’m doing a project I’m like what is the simplest possible, fasted possible, easiest possible way to get this done. The feeding station turned out really cute. I would have probably left it another 2 or 3 inches taller since he's a pretty tall dog, but it looks great.
