I am not in any way an audiophile, but I would describe my Moondrop trifecta the same way Tim did. Woooah. Just perfect. Beautiful. Everything. The Quarks are light, isolate eerily well, and are easy to put on and off, especially when wearing a face mask. The Starfield I use for almost everything, music, movies, on-the-go, they are immersive even in loud environments. And then the Dusk, well I use them at home during my own time when I want to immerse myself in my media. They might not be your EDC, but these are mine and I am loving it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy listening about all the iems that have come out and exist. However, I feel I have everything I need with my own trifecta. 😄

I'm currently using Campfire Holocane, at first im sold with the colour and the design. it's a bright and it had a little bit of simbalance, but it gone after changing the eartips, the mid is good, but it bit lack of bass for me but it's good. and it very detailed and good sounds stage for myself. it's my first $500+ iem, and before that I'm using Aria and some kz class iem and that the most expensive iem before I using campfire.

I just found your channel recently, and I love the energy that you put into your content. I am looking for an IEM recommendation at 500 or less. I am curious how you would compare the Sony IER-M7 to the Dunu SA6. I saw that you really enjoyed both. I am not a bass head and comfort for "many hours" is important as I wear them for work. Of course I am open to other suggestions. I prefer vocals/instrumentals if anything.. Thanks!

Anole VX user here! (Can see it on my channel) Totally understand the choice. It was my first CIEM after playing with so many earpieces and being unable to find "the one" for my ears, tried on the Anole VX in a shop and knew it was close to it. It has been my personal darling of a earpiece though it costed a kidney. Thought it would be my end game but I just got a UM Mest for the DD bass and interesting soundstage. :')

I currently use the ie 300 but I am planning on upgrading to either the oracle or sa6, leaning towards the oracle but I am not sure if they fit as well as the sa6.. If someone knows please let me know, I would not consider my ears ars particularly large.
@HalationSnow3535
@HalationSnow3535 2 жыл бұрын
I can only really speak for the Oracles. They fit into my ears pretty well and I don't really consider my ears to be on the large side, but not small either. However, getting a "proper" insertion is a bit of a mixed bag. It took me a few different sets of tips before settling on some small silicon tips. The Oracles can sound somewhat thin with the bass being pretty much non existent if you can't get a proper fit/insertion in your ear canal. Eartips and fit/insertion are very important imo since they can seriously make or break how these sound. With all that being said, the Oracles sound absolutely amazing and are well worth the price (Imo) IF you're able to fit them properly. If your ears aren't on the small side I think these will fit you fine.

Does the IER-M7 have vacuum seal on them? Since I don't see any vents anywhere and I kinda have issues with vacuum seal IEMs
@sunnysunshine9016
@sunnysunshine9016 2 жыл бұрын
You need to pull your ears when you insert them, then there is no issue. Removing it just gently lift the little black tip bits to release that suction seal. Otherwise try the semi foam set which will reduce the vacuum slightly. Been using it quite a few years, on stage and general listening. With so many sets of tips in the box (13 different size), try to get the perfect fit, like just seal comfortable without being too tight or lose.

Currently ie 300 but ordered the ie 900, hana 2021 and maybe the 7hz timeless just to see what a planar sounds like, although I've got small ears so I stick with single DD sets as most multi drivers are just too big for me. Recently tried the Xelento as well but tbh, the detail on that one isn't that much better than the ie 300 and the ie 300 has a more energetic sound while the Xelento is so relaxed, it gets boring really quick, even though the bass is pretty fricking great on the Xelento. Also the soundstage and imaging is far superior on the ie 300, so is the comfort.
@henrygg295
@henrygg295 2 жыл бұрын
Well, I received the Hana 2.0 today and I really don't like it, I guess I'm really sensitive to upper mids but not only that, the resolution is also significantly worse than the ie 300 even though many reviewers said it's close to the oxygen, which is said to be able to keep up with $500 DD sets. The Mele also arrived with it and it's the same case and imo it's worse than the blon 3 in terms of tuning and resolution, fit is probably one of the best though. Sadly I bought blindly to the hype and it ended up in a huge disappointment.

I am really into custom keyboards, another hobby where the term "endgame" is said about high end things. But I have found that endgame doesn't exist in that world... is it the same for audio? Like, how people call really good/high end gear endgame, but it doesn't truly exist? Or is audio endgame a real thing? I am newer to audio stuff but have been interested for a while, so I'm sorry if this sounds really dumb.
@Gizaudio
@Gizaudio 2 жыл бұрын
Endgame for audio for me exist but it's different for some people. While there are universally agreed upon endgame items, there are some items that are only considered endgame by some. So to answer the question, yes, it exist, however, your definitive endgame might different from others. In a subjective hobby I think this is normal. Some universally agreed upon endgame examples IEMs Sony IER-Z1R 64 Audio U12T QDC Anole VX Thieaudio Monarch Headphones Hifiman Susvara Sennheiser HE-1 the list is much bigger but these for me are the most universally agreed upon.

One quick ask/idea to bring to ya..you’re fantastic about relaying the sound signature/tuning and clearly have good experience with describing dynamics and have a good ear for things. I personally at least would also find it additionally helpful and awesome if for instance, when you’re speaking of the Dawns and said you enjoy them for the pure and emotional element of vocals and the mid-range, I’d love to see you add a quick note as an infographic on-screen of a couple key singers/groups or even just genres in general if not that specific. Or mention just one or two specific songs you find highlights what the set is most at home with. You already definitely try to relay that but I feel like if you were to offer a little more in the way of specifics, it’s have an ever bigger impact on relaying strengths and weaknesses. Not suggesting you go the route of someone like BGGAR necessarily in saying ‘at 2:31 thru 3:00 in Sweet Leaf by Black Sabbath, you hear these specific instruments (drummer and bassist) fighting for space blah blah blah’ Perhaps some middle ground by saying ‘I in particularly enjoyed this song and that song on the Dawns but the lower-mids and vocals became ever so slightly crowded by the bass on the Z1Rs by comparison. But what stood out on the Z1Rs over the Dawns was this song and that due to much of their strengths being their bass’ etc. Please don’t look at my one single comment and assume that’s what everyone wants from you specifically in videos. I just always find it’s a nice touch to know as specifically as possible about sets’ various perceived strengths based off of their tuning and technicality (without getting obsessive of course)

What da duck Timmy ? in so many videos you praised Sennheiser IE300 how good & comfortable they are and how you use them for editing and not it turns out you are using Sony so is there some sponsored product placement section in regular videos ?
@Gizaudio
@Gizaudio 2 жыл бұрын
Like I mentioned in the video, not every IEM I praised will make it in because I only have so much time in a day to use them. The full story is, I bought the M7 first so I used that for work for a very long time. After I bought the IE300 I switched to using that for a while. Recent 3 weeks I'd switched back to Sony and been using it ever since. Both IEMS are great for work and I recommend both heavily. I don't really have a preference on which I like more for work purposes. I'm sure in the future I'll switch to IE300 again once I get a bit bored of M7. In conclusion, both are great, I use both, but I tend to use one for a while before switch to the other, right now I'm in my M7 cycle.
