I was a cross stitcher before I found quilting. Now I use cross stitch when I just need to slow down. Cannot be without a plan and a project for more than a day. You are an inspiration for so many of us. Wishing you a Merry Christmas Anna! Thank you for sharing your love of craft.

I used to cross stitch before I started quilting, and I haven’t gone back to it... yet. I’ve kept some of my favorite projects to do if we ever get that RV we want. I’d better stay out of this shop, for sure. Thanks for sharing! I hope you & Greg & Enzo have a wonderful Christmas, and I hope to see you in the New Year! 💕

In the frantic pace of pre-christmas as soon as G’s music started I found myself settling down and enjoying the cross stitch tour. What a nice break from the hassle and stress. Thank you and thank you to G as well.

That's so funny that you were there, I watch Pretty Southern blog and she goes to that shop all the time and talk to other cross stitchers. You should check her out, very funny.

Thanks for the close ups of the patterns and models! It was interesting to see the shop from your view again after watching flosstube with Linda Jo (Pretty Southern) and Michelle Garrette (Bendy Stitchy) stitching at Acorns and Threads. I’m guessing you may know them? If you ever did a video with them in it...my head might explode from confusion...lol! Too many great things to make. I probably need to lie o 200....argh. 🤪

Anna you are so talented in so many areas. That shop is awesome but I don’t cross-stitch. I think it would be fun to do some day 😊

Wow!! That wall of thread just blows me away.....Oh Lord I shouldn't have watched this video! I'm up to my armpits in quilts, raw edge applique and wool applique. I'd never have time for cross stitch. I'm not very quick at it so anything I start would take forever to finish. Oh well, it was a wonderful tour, anyway. I really love some of those pieces. Ya know, I'm going to talk myself into this yet. Thanks a lot, Anna! I've said it before and I'll say it again..........."It's all your fault!" LOLOL Merry Christmas and best wishes to you and yours for this holiday season and 2019. Thank you, G and Enzo for everything you do for your viewers. It is sooooo appreciated!! Are you ready to hit the road yet???

Haha I feel the same way. I'm up to my armpits in finishing gift knitting, and now this!! 😂 😂 Good thing I live in the Seattle area since being there would make me lose my self control
@cheryl82805 жыл бұрын
@@Susie98052 LOL Oh, I don't know about that Seattle thing. From what I've seen, Quilt Roadies has taken us to many, many shops in Oregon AND Washington. I've been jealous of all you Northwesterners. I live in south central Canada and it's a virtual desert when it comes to ALL craft supplies.
@quiltroadies16955 жыл бұрын
What can I say...I love that this virus is contagious, lol. We are hitting the road very soon...so stay tuned!
@Susie980525 жыл бұрын
@@cheryl8280 I used to live on the other side of the border from you in Minot ND, so I understand the crafting desert!
@cheryl82805 жыл бұрын
@@Susie98052 Are you kidding me? You were in the land of plenty!! You had Joannes, Hobby Lobby, all kinds of quilt shops. Minot has it's own Quilt show every March. We have a quilting association bur I can't get ahold of anyone on their list. Need I say more? When I say crafting desert, I mean REALLY desert-y (is that even a word??). If it weren't for the awful exchange rate, I'd be shopping in Grand Forks! We do have a large fabric warehouse that "caters" to quilters, but just as an example, they have maybe 10 bolts of batiks which they must think is really rare because they're charging a FORTUNE for it. Okay, I'm done complaining. LOLOL Thanks for the shoulder! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

Did you make the quilt behind you? Love it, so vintage-y. I love the mice in the sewing room and her new chart, I think Plum Pudding. Maybe next year! It's probably a good thing I don't have a nearby LNS because some of the patterns have terrible photos and then you see one stitched up by a Flosstuber and it's gorgeous. It would probably blow my mind to see all the stitched up models in person. And the wall of floss, really? How is someone supposed to make up their mind...woe is me. I seen a lot of designs for the 1st time. I just finished Mary Mustardseed (Scattered Seeds I think is the company) feeding her flock of birds, I put your favorite SF101 on the back after stitching because it's going on Mom's quilt & the linen is loose compared to the quilting cotton. Plus I knotted the back like crazy so call the x-stitch police on me but I don't want those threads working loose when it's washed. Living on the edge baby-yeah, living on the edge until they come to cuff me. Seriously I loved the entire tour. Thank you again Anna.

I can't remember...it is from the 90's I do know it is an Alex Anderson pattern that I adapted to use my embroidered squares. I think they are going to feature it on The Quilt Show so maybe they will have the name :)

Oooops Just a quick question.................Why are crows synonymous with country/farmhouse? Why not robins, or canaries? Nice sweet birds, not those mean squawkers?
