AHHHH ABSOLUTE HEARTBREAK. The song choice is so appropriate, it's like the last veneer of happiness hiding the impending tragedy. AND THEN THE TRAGEDY HITS and it's still the happy song and it's just this horribly sad dissonance, BROOOOO that destroyed me. A-Yuan hiding and thinking about WWX being there to comfort him and then the end shot of just heartbroken LWJ discovering him made me tear up for real. In the last three days, I've spent the total of three hours staring at the screen with this video on repeat, and who knows how much longer having it opened on the side while doing other things. I'm obsessed with this animatic a completely normal amount. And don't you dare say anything about it being ugly! It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. The colours are beautiful, the movements are sooo cool (I especially enjoy the hair, it's so simple yet so effective!), the facial expressions are all so amazing and conveys so many emotions, the way you used this cheerful song to show the total devastation of the siege? The way a-Yuan sings it to himself, trying to not fall apart? Just damn, it's a masterpiece in every way and I'm in love
