The fact that there is already an excessive amount of demand awaiting its absorption, despite how everyone is frightened and calling the crash, is another reason why it is less likely to occur that way. 2008 saw no one, at least not the broad public, making this forecast, as I'll explain below. The ownership rate was noted to have peaked in 2004 in the other comment. Having previously peaked in the second quarter of 2020, we are currently at the median level. Between 2008 and 2012, it dropped by 3%, and by the second quarter of 2020, it had dropped from 68 to 65.

Investing in both real estate and stocks can be prudent choices, particularly when backed by a robust trading strategy that can navigate you through prosperous periods. You're not doing anything wrong; the problem is that you don't have the knowledge needed to succeed in a challenging market. Only highly qualified professionals who had to experience the 2008 financial crisis could hope to earn a high salary in these challenging conditions.

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over $745k working with an investment coach for more than two years.

After working at gas stations for few years, I bought my first property at the age of 19. I planned out everything. I thought I was going to be a millionaire soon. The following year (in 2007), the real estate got crashed and crushed me. 😂🤯 my property value went from 140k to 40k. While most of the people went through foreclosures, I managed to keep it by renting out my other room and then when it got so bad, I ended up renting out my living room too. $hit happens but the show must go on. In 2013 I bought another small property. Then in 2016, I bought another property. I only have a 2 year college degree. One of my goals were to take a mini retirement vacation. So I took two years off completely from work. Now I’m back to work. Am I rich? Hell no. Lol … but I enjoyed my life journey.

The question is how much is enough?what is financial freedom?when can we finally stop worrying and start living our lives?money in my opinion is just a placebo a cushion for all our anxiety and fears in life from childhood till adulthood. It never feels enough because people focus on money and "happiness" watch Steve cutts "happiness" instead of facing their true fears and anxiety and emptiness. 100k is a lot of money to save, that's like 20,000 chik fil a chicken sandwiches if ur poor or homeless, but when u get there it feels like nothing,it doesn't soothe ur anxieties,I too in my twenties have reached higher and higher milestones, first it was 3k then 5k then 7k then 10k,I started from zero many times, but even at my highest,I never felt any better. It's no wonder people have millions and are never truly happy, they are chained to this never ending life of futility and despair. People set their financial freedom goal at 300k or 500k or 1 million, the goal where magically something in their minds would snap free and they would be a free man,but why does it have to be so much?that u spend half ur lifetime trying to reach it before u can start living ur life? What is it u can't do in life really with 20 or 50k that u can do with 100 or 200k? Anything u cant do or go? At the end of the day we all live in the prison of our minds, everything is just a construct all the rules u make it up urself.

Quite honestly knowing that I can afford to support myself without a job offers all the peace of mind and motivation to pursue it. Perhaps after, it will become the excuse of why I should upgrade my living standards, knowing that what has been and continues to be invested can grow and build over time to support it.

Great video. To contrast, I was pretty thrilled to hit six figures - but the feeling was fleeting. After hitting the first $100k I relaxed a bit and am enjoying life (though I am naturally frugal). Interesting to find this video because now I’m at the nexus of quitting to focus on growing my side hustles into full businesses. Was there a tipping point for you in terms of income or did you just dive in?

Money is just the transfer of “value.” I don’t fully associate money with time because you’ll never get said time back that you exchanged for money. However, you can exchange that money for experiences, food, clothes, and to help others (happiness/fulfillment.) So money can unlock freedom and doors to your point, but money really is just a form to capture value (and in terms of a job it’s the salary that quantifies your skills & experiences) so saving that value and growing it long term makes sense but you can’t discount the fact that you’re foregoing current / short term experiences in the process. Which is invaluable and really dependent on your financial / personal goals in life.

"I don’t fully associate money with time because you’ll never get said time back that you exchanged for money." Well its a far more efficient use of your time then attempting to produce everything yourself. " you can’t discount the fact that you’re foregoing current / short term experiences in the process" That's obvious but I don't see why that's important, in a sense you trade time for time which is necessary for average living comfort. Unless you plan on living as a monk with no connection to civilization.
