I used Ethiopian Airlines this past April from NY to Nigeria; and it was a good experience. The flight was fast and the layover was under two hours. Loved it.

Not indiscriminately. Ethiopian airlines is a rubbish airline on which I have wasted money. I won't throw good money after bad by ever using them again.

@Ike Naija If travelling to the southern African region I use South African airways, whereas I used to use Ethiopian airways. I had vetoed SAA for a while due to poor service/treatment from their air hostesses, not all, but enough to irritate. However, when I and others complained they changed for the better, so I went back. I stopped using emirates, British airways, Klm and air France for the same reason. I will not pay for racism. I take my money and I walk, even if I have to pay more elsewhere.

@@hannahl1387 South African Airways has some other stuff who always ask for bribes especially at ORTambo airport not 100% if they’re for SA airways or just agents. I’ve a couple of these incidents when they put people on tight corner for you to pay something

I have been flying Ethiopian airline for a while, I tried turkish airline and air Maroc but still come back to Ethiopian airline because they keep to the time and more comfortable especially listening to soft Tizita songs onboard.My last flight delayed in addiss and we were given a hotel free of charge to sleep until the next flight was ready. Kudos to Ethiopian airline.

I'm currently reading a book titled 'Nationalism in Europe in the 1700s'. The book must be read by all young Africans. It talks about instilling love for country and building a society of oneness, patriotism and commitment to die for the common interest.

We could begin with the younger generation, and by the end of this generation, we would have a generation that is determined to protect the African interest without considering self-first.

African countries should try and go into aviation business, most African airlines collapse due to poor management skills. The Ethiopian aviation industry is superb, our African political leaders should ensure they fight corruption in the management of their economy. Maya, You're just doing a great job for Africa. African airlines should highly consider a merger strategy so they can better control the African market and beyond. Ethiopian airline is the only one that stayed above waters for so long. Their ego and poor leadership have been killing them slowly.

The success of Ethiopian airlines is not attributed to an individual. However, the former CEO Girma Wake handed over a clean slate to the current CEO. Ethiopian airlines was already profitable with clear trajectory when the current CEO took over. He could not have mess that up. Yes so true l love Ethiopian airlines. I have flown it many times., usually from South Africa to Equatorial Guinea but l also used it from Los Angeles to Johannesburg. I have flown business class to and its very nice. Great service and of course the stewardesses are beautiful

Watching your videos have convinced me to visit Africa. I’m in the process of planning a trip back to my ancestral homeland. I always flew Tap Portugal or Brussels Airlines but Ethiopian Airlines look much better...Haven't taken my time to think or pay attention to African Flight,I always think they roam within Africa and not Europe and Americas except north African flights I taught they do go outside Africa...Time to switch and put our money in our continent,Thanks alot Maya

@@redgoldgreen9960 I’ll not argue with you but given the fact that the Diaspora may very well be bigger that the motherland, African airlines should be more forthcoming to compete for that market. I don’t think there is a single black person not curious to at least visit once. I’ve traveled South Africa and East African countries, and I’m heading out to Egypt and Jordan on the Airline that affords me this.

Hi Maya, as a Kenyan married to a Congolese, I can't wait for the Kinshasa videos... My second country has a lot of potential, we "Congolese" need to give the president a chance! This is his 2nd year in power (2019 - date...) and what he's done within these years are remarkable! But the expectations of the people is overwhelming.

@Genius AfricAn PhArAohs I'm not in Dakar, but I have had macaroni and cheese there and Mexican food 😋 There's basketball courts by my house in Mbour and also in Yoff by my friends house. You must haven't seen the new stadium for youth Olympics. I play volleyball 🏐 and salsa dance and I've found both here. Maybe you haven't been here in a while but Black Americans are everywhere in Senegal now, you should come hang out

Nice video......Thanks for a peek into business first class. I have flown Ethiopian Airlines round trip twice from the States to Togo and have often wondered about the first class experience. My overall flight experience was very good using economy seats. I wholeheartedly believe in supporting African businesses and would recommend Ethiopian Airlines.
