I wouldn’t normally buy Rowan yarns just because they are quite a bit more expensive than some other yarns that I have access to and I really try to keep the costs down since knitting isn’t a cheap hobby. Having said that, I certainly would be more open to buying from them using an affiliate link as I’d love to try their yarns and could justify the additional cost if some of that money was going towards supporting a content creator ☺️

Thank you for another lovely video. I love how honest you are about these things, so often we see influences and they look so confident and care free. It's nice to know that's not always the case. Remember how much you enjoyed it when you next get offered an opportunity and go for it.

What a cool event! AND what an honor to be invited especially with it being such a small group! You absolutely deserve it and I’m so glad you powered thru and got to enjoy it! Wow I purchased a Rowan printed sweater pattern (before I ever had the confidence to knit a sweater!) and Rowan yarn way back at the beginning of my knitting journey. Tho I never made that sweater I have made tons of others. That yarn is still in my stash! But this episode has inspired me to get it in my queue!

Thanks for taking us along. It’s awesome that you were invited and I’m glad you enjoyed yourself after initial anxieties. I’m always a bit wrecked before going into a new situation, especially fiber events even though I love the community. But every time I’ve pushed past the fear I’ve enjoyed myself and didn’t live to regret it. Plus it’s always fun to learn about new fibers or patterns!

I have used some Rowan yarns and I have liked them. They are not that easily available here on the West Coast of Finland. I hope to be able to buy some yarn when I travel to UK next time.

I have knitted the sweater "Rosamund" from the Bloomsbury collection with Rowan Felted Tweed and I really love the colour and design, although I didn't like knitting in pieces. Have a great day! Great video and interesting to hear more about More at Rowan. I’m an old timer of Rowan, used to knit at least one thing from each magazine they brought out in the 80s and early 90s. Yes they do tend to be ‘pieces’ garments and that’s because of the structural integrity and so nowadays since top down in the round I rarely make one but I still like their ethos . Ps l don’t have any issues with you earning some money from this - it’s expensive otherwise for you
