Please listen with low frequency capable speakers. This is an excerpt from my live performance in May 2019 at the 919 Noise Showcase in Chapel Hill, NC. I played the Loopchucker, a musical instrument of my own design, for a set with SumbGlitch.
The Loopchucker is a wearable two-channel sample looper playable with a pair of Wii Nunchuk controllers. It has a built-in microphone for sampling. The nunchuk controls are mapped to control voltage using a board I designed for the Sonoclast Michelangelo Eurorack module. That control voltage is fed into a Bela which runs a Pure Data patch I wrote. LEDs pulse in time with the two looping channels.
