I recently went for my first ever microneedling experience for acne scar treatment and wanted to share with you my procedure process and what to expect if you decide to try microneedling for yourself. In this video I will be sharing a daily vlog of my first microneedling experience as well as an overall review and explanation of you can expect during microneedling.
Despite looking like I had the worst sunburn imaginable the first day and then looking like I slept with a tiger on the second day, after a few days, my skin was glowing and my overall complexion is already improving drastically with just one treatment. One thing I admire most about reviews is honesty and realness, even if it isn't pretty. So, I hope that you find this video insightful and helpful. I'm over 40, so I do SkinPen Micro-needling by an Aesthetician every 5 weeks and have for 2 years now. The sunburn feeling and peeling is less with each session. My results have been even tone, smoother skin, no acne, hair regrowth at the hair line, less fine lines, and smoothened out the harsh "11's." I highly recommend with PRP, as well, which I do every 3rd session.

Microneedling helps, specifically dermastamping with the Banisher 2.0. It helps my husband's skin for 5 yrs now. No need for high maintenance routine and expensive treatments. Just 20minutes per week and he's good to go!

Great video 😊 I’m from the UK and I’ve just started microneedling/dermapen after getting rid of active acne and now tackling my scars/hyperpigmentation. I really recommend this to anyone wanting to tackle the after effects of acne, I had my first session 4 weeks ago and my scars are fading after years of looking for a solution. It’s expensive, but I already feel it’s well worth it. I got a vitamin E cream for a two/three day aftercare. I also was recommended to wear a ‘physical’ sunscreen lotion everyday, even though the UK is never sunny. Physical meaning containing zinc and titanium that sits on top of the skin, rather than a chemical sunscreen. It’s really been the best decision I’ve taken to get my skin back 😊

i had adult acne in teenage years into my 20’s. Now in my 30’s it has calmed down and I just did my first micro-needling session. Overall a relaxing experience, it just felt like they were scrubbing my face with a little rough towel but no pain at all. It was just little uncomfortable when they had to go over again on my acne spot areas but it was just little prickles. Overall looking forward to my 2nd treatment!

kool...yesterday was my third time micronedelling and I didn't get red like the last two sessions before... I think my skin gets kind of used to it but you know I never bleed ... but love the result... here is getting to the warm and sunny and next month is my last time before sommer and perhaps I do 2 more times from September this year. loving it..

Do you know if this works with sun damage in the chest area I have minor fine lines and some discoloration I was thinking of doing co2 laser which is more aggressive but I was told I’m to young for that and I don’t have deep lines to just do micro needling

I have pigmentation issues along with acne scarring, & I got the Vivace microneedling & cool peel. Little to no down time. I’m on day 3 & I just have a little peeling & already notice a difference in scarring. I definitely recommend this treatment. Also practically painless. I will need 3 treatments.

Don't buy that it's so expensive. Just get copper peptides, centella hyaluronic acid to speed up healing and stimulate collagen. My derm refers me those for wound healing. Then maybe 2 weeks after, apply tretinoin to give your skin a push to stimulate more collagen.

Just had my first microneedling to treat fine lines. Thank you for sharing your experience, you look beautiful! I'm 30 years older than you so my experience is going to be different. I did get PRP and wanted to let you know that maybe that's why I didn't have half the redness that you did afterwards...or maybe just I have different skin type. It's been three hours and honestly other than feeling tight and sensitive I'm okay to go out but I'm staying in. Maybe try PRP next time. Thanks for sharing, I'm so excited about this procedure.

Jessica, you might consider a TCA peel. It's $30 and you can get it at skinobsessions.com, but there are other places that sell it online. I've just gotten all my peels there and the shipping is super fast. I'm actually on Day 4 of my first TCA peel (I've done many glycolic peels in the past, but never as strong as the TCA) I've never had acne, but have had freckles my whole life, and these peels have changed my skin 100%. Plus good skincare regimen and being patient. But really truly TCA peels work amazing for acne.

I’ve tried microneedling once. Tip: DO NOT DO IT IF YOU HAVE ACTIVE ACNE! It spread my acne and pushed the bacteria deeper into my skin. It took me a month to get rid of the acne afterwards, BUT after that I could tell my old scars were better and my skin was tighter.It wasn’t painful for me either, but yeah. I would recommend microneedling. I’d say treat the acne first, then save up your money to get laser treatment.

20 mins?! Wow my esthetician took an hour, but she stamped my whole face, as opposed to pulling/dragging the pen across my skin. I bled a lot, but 24 hours later my skin wasn't hardly red at all. Different method I guess. I just haven't had hardly any burning or discomfort after, and I had it done 2 days ago. Today there is no redness at all. Your skin looks fantastic btw :)

Iv just starting have this treatment, so very red afterwards but I use hyaluronic serum throughout the day. Looks great on around day 3. Do not rub your skin afterwards as cause infections

I did 1.5mm dermarolling today at home...no numbing cream nothing...not much bleeding....it's not much painful....

I had microneedling on Friday and it was very painful. I have acne scars, enlarged pores and melasma. They did put a numbing cream but I still felt alot of pain. I know I need more treatments but am terrified of the pain.

My skin didn’t look anything like it, and didn’t even hurt that much. Had a bit of burnt feeling, but nothing major. I guess the micropen wasn’t that strong, also they didn’t go that deep on my skin. I literally looked glowing and nice so not sure yet about the results in long term. I’m guessing mine wasn’t that strong as yours.
