My first month playing with the Sound Voltex controller

So i finally decided to put this together after almost 4 months lol, it was a lot of fun learning to play the game again. I'm currently comfortable playing 18s and slowly trying to get into 19s.

haha lucky you, as u have a huge advantage. you have larger hands. where as for me, i have to really stretch my hand if im to press the 2 fx buttons with one hand. there is so much more movement required to also reach the knobs Dx

Any advice for getting into 16/17s? I can play 15s comfortably and some of the easier 16s, but have failed to progress.

The best advice I can think of is to get used to one hand patterns which are more prominent on 16s/17s, try playing some even if you can't clear them so that you can start learning how to read them, also watching other people play can give you an idea on how to hit those harder patterns. And also trying to get high scores on lower difficulties is a good way to practice and improve your accuracy.

Geez, you went from 13 to 18 in a month? That took me 5 months to get to 18s lol. I only play Konasute though, I believe the timing is different/easier in USC?

yeah i think lasers are waay easier to hit in USC, button wise I don't really feel a big difference. Also I did have some experience of playing in arcade for a couple days 2 years ago, and also having played on keyboard for years made me familiar with most of the game's mechanics.

I see you have the keyboard controls all the way to the sides, how do you handle when you have to press the buttons on the same side as the slider why using the slider? Do you move your hand all the way there? Casue that's a problem I have but I sorta solved it with using the keys close to each other but I've always wanted to try having them on the sides like you

Yeah it's not the best solution but i had the 4 buttons binded on each side, it kinda worked

@@deko97 That's how the KSM Dev wanted anyone to play like this, I also have something similar but the Halfs are closer together
