I should have I wanted to catch them on topwaters bad

Yeah I was surprised how clear it was. A swim jig probably would have worked good around that grass with the shad spawn happening

Yes seems like the yadkin chain has way bigger bass than the catawba chain. I need to fish them more

I wouldn't stop fishing the grass I should have looked offshore, I'm sure there was some current and they were out there

He does have a good channel and yeah I only use braid on topwaters. I usually use fluoro around rock

That's crazy on topwater I know they hit crankbaits. If I can catch them on topwater I'll start fishing for catfish lol

I've learned just go ahead and spend extra money for good line it makes a big difference

I put in at Alcoa that area had the most fish. The other side across from the dam had the cleanest water

Thanks Badin is a good lake. I've heard Tilelry has more fish but not quite as big and tuckertown can be really awesome or completely dead but I've only fished Badin this one time

Yep I need to use at least 15lb on jig rod. I'm used to little Norman bass I get away with 12lb

@@landonmoore76 ive used 12lb invisx for couple years and nothing above it until this year. Ive never had any bad luck only using 12lbs but ive learned its mostly reacting so 14 15lb line dont effect the bite that much. Plus dont fish a whole lot of clear lakes much besides belews lake so its been good to me. We fished Norman satuday for the first time ever. It seems like a hard lake to get a big bav for sure. We only had 6.6lbs with 5 fish

You should see what I'm saying to myself when the fish aren't biting lol. When I'm editing I'm like what is wrong with myself lol
