They don't explain well in the film, but they do explain it in excruciating detail in the comics. Wade's skin looks like that because his healing factor doesn't recognize the difference between his regular cells and his cancerous cells, so it heals both, but at the same time it pushes the tumors out of everything vital in order to keep him strong. That's his tumors you're looking at. And they're constantly growing & being pushed out to his skin, which is why his scarring is different from one scene to the next. [it also happens in the comics] It's also part of why he's so twisted: Wade Wilson was always acutely mentally ill, but now he's also in constant pain, which significantly worsens his mental health. Plus, they say being immortal can fuck with the ol' noggin as well..
@bigdream_dreambig

But the movie didn't bother with that. They simply said his mutant power learned that scarred state as Wade's healthy default, so keeps restoring him to that state.

Man this reaction is so interesting to me. Not because of the movie itself but because of all your comments and how your opinions are just so insanely different to mine. It feels like I'm literally watching someone that is the polar opposite of me. I love gore and I love awful dark and childish humor. The first girl I ever fell in love with literally had exactly the same humor as wade and vanessa have in this movie. I feel like if I cannot share that type of humor with a girl I'm literally incapable of falling in love with her. It is so interesting how different you are and how you say you couldn't be like that and couldn't live like that. It really made me realise that there are probably a lot of women out there who are not compatible with this type of humor/personality at all lmao. But that's fine.

@Luna-ps2nc Lmao, you're making connections that don't exist to support your opinion. At what point did I say that about women? I was raised by a single mom, I think very highly of women, and I respect them I open the doors for them I pull chairs out and I always pay on dates even if it's a bad one. Some will say that's considered sexist and misogynistic these days, but my mom raised me to be that way. She came off as materialistic and stiff. Now that's my opinion. I'm not saying it's a fact, but that's the way it came off to me. I posted a public comment, so yes, you're more than in your right to respond to it. But don't draw to conclusions that weren't there. Me saying undesirable had nothing to do with her looks she's a beautiful woman, but that's not all that matters. She made herself undesirable as in it seems like it wouldn't be fun to be in a relationship with her. "Hope that helps"

I've been around the world I've hooked up for so long, and I've only ever found myself happy when I had a true connection with someone. Sex is the last thing on my mind, and it's not what I look at when I see a woman. And you're totally speaking out of your ass because you want an excuse for you to be right and me to be wrong. Look at the end of the day. You're going to think what you're going to think, and so am I you're not going to change me nor I you. As a massive Marvel fan it's crazy that there's people who had no idea that X-Men were Marvel. It kind of shows the massive impact the MCU had on mainstream culture as before the first Iron Man film no one really cared about the Avengers, X-Men were way more well known and popular. The New Mutants comics in the 1980s to the amazing X-Men 90s Animated Series that was apart of this Animated Marvel Universe where we saw characters like Wolverine fight alongside Captain America, Ms Marvel showing up to even the 90s Spider-Man Animated Series having a really cool crossover episode where Spider-Man met the X-Men from the Animated Series same voice actors and all. Then we got the X-Men films in the 2000s etc. Once Iron Man came out in 2008 and we started to build up to Avengers in 2012 this is when The Avengers became household names while X-Men kind of slipped away with X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014 being the peak of the X-Men films. Deadpool kind of kept X-Men afloat by simply featuring Mutants and X-Men characters while Fox kind of fell apart with the films until Disney fought them in 2019 and acquired the rights. Can't forget about the amazing Logan as well from 2017 a very unique film that's just amazing.

When you genuinely love someone, you're willing to sacrifice things to be with them. And even then, to Vanessa it wasn't much of a sacrifice, since as you said, neither of them came from wealth and status. All that mattered to her was the fact that she was with a man she loved, and who loved her in return. There's a reason why she was still single by the time Wade came back, because if all she wanted was money she could've easily found a guy better off than Wade after he went missing on her, but she was still reeling after losing a relationship with a guy she loved. I liked the rest of the reaction, but the take on Wade and Vanessa's relationship wasn't it fam. It was an awful take, that said more about Colette as a person than anything else.

The reason Vanessa was with Wade isn't only because of his charm, wit, dark sense of humor or money. The "Your crazy matches my crazy, big time" line means they share the same kind of emotional trauma. The stories of their lives up to that point are pretty much fucked up in the same way. Both understand each other better than anyone else could. It's not only physical attraction, they are... and i know it's cheesy AF, but really... soulmates. Both are good people at heart, but have been through some rough stuff and it changed them. And yes - there really are girls that are this hot and even hotter, but have been through a lot in their lives and aren't looking for the materialistic side of things. The person they search for is someone who can understand the pain they've been through and not judge them. And this is extremely rare to find. Girls like that can't be bought or owned. That's why 2 years later Vanessa is still single. She isn't looking for someone who can provide her luxurious lifestyle, she found someone who completely matched her, but she lost him.

I'm sure Logan is another cash grab that everyone says it's "actually good" because it appears to have actual stakes, but we're about to get a Deadpool & Wolverine movie. So... what did I say again about all that shit being meaningless?

Something that I don't think Hollywood has ever portrayed acurately is that when a person dies, the corpse loses any ability to control the bowel and the bladder, both of which empty out. Maybe it's because we see and hear movies, but can't smell them. That might be a good thing for us, given all the violent deaths depicted in movies and TV shows. That bad guy's brown pants will still save him some embarassment, except he's dead and won't know he pissed and crapped himself.

0:30 100% Correct Deadpool is very much connected to the X-Men/Mutant side of the Marvel universe. Deadpool first appeared in The New Mutants #98 (1991) a comic series that started all the way back in 1983 and focused on the young newly introduced Mutants of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, The home of the X-Men. Deadpool later got his own comic book series in 1997 and everything else is history. Where does these films take place in relation to the MCU? Well Fox owned the movie rights to The X-Men when Marvel sold off there movie rights back in the mid 1990s before filing for Bankruptcy in 1996. Fox then started working on creating X-Men films pumping out X-Men in the year 2000 giving birth to a whole trilogy, prequal trilogy, and spin offs. Meanwhile Marvel Studios planned to create a connected universe using the IPs they owned, being most of Marvel. In 2008 the MCU was born with Iron Man but Fox already had a continuity of there own with X-Men. Kevin Feige (Who actually worked on the first X-Men film) tried a few times to connect the MCU and Fox's X-Men together from a cut scene from Iron Man (2008) featuring Nick Fury mentioning Mutants to a possible Wolverine cameo in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) releasing the same year as X-Men: First Class. But these things never happened and the MCU and Fox's X-Men universe continued to be separate. As of 2019 Disney own Fox which means that Marvel Studios now have the movie rights to not only X-Men but also Fantastic Four, Fox also developed Two F4 films and a single rebooted film. So with the MCU being in the Multiverse Saga and as you saw in Multiverse of Madness Marvel can now use X-Men/Mutants. It's just a matter of how they'll introduce the X-Men to the mainline MCU. Have Mutants been in hiding all this time in the MCU or will they bring in Mutants from another Universe and place them into the MCU, Matter of waiting I guess but I personally would prefer if Mutants always existed in the MCU.

That's why I consider everything canon to The MCU. It feels more like a variety of things if the movies, shorts, special presentations, the web series, the book Ant Man wrote, _Rogers: The Musical,_ The Defenders shows, the disney+ shows, the ABC Shows, _Runaways, Cloak & Dagger,_ and the X-Men franchise (and with the upcoming Deadpool 3) it seems the _Daredevil_ movie and it's sequel movie _Electra_ all fit into one giant universe (throwing the DC movie _Green Latern_ in the mix works if you want to know why even Ryan Renolds and his character Deadpool have issues with it). It doesn't feel like everything is the same that way. It feels like there is a justification as to why all characters and medium have a different tone to them.

Like it or not... a large percentage of men actually find women with a crude sense of humor far more desirable. Just because you are incapable of seeing past material and physical things doesnt mean there arent women like that who exist. It is a very naive thing to assume only a "man" could write up a woman like that. A woman who truly loves a man will love him even in the lowest points of his life and will see him through. There is a reason men are actually the romantic sex, a large percentage of women today would leave a man for someone they deem a better option without batting an eye.... while with most men we dont care as much about what you have and care more about who you are and how you carry yourself and when a man truly loves someone they will risk and give everything for that person. Being pretty isnt enough.... there are pretty women everywhere you go... being someone a man can find his peace in and who he can even joke with and be honest to is one of the most desirable kind of woman. The fact you would say no pretty woman like her would be with a man who lived in a place like that just shows how shallow women in our society can be and just shows more of why so many men are leaving the US to find women more worth marrying somewhere else. Its actually very toxic for you to tell women that women like that dont exist insinuating its a bad thing to be.

I think there’s a lot about Deadpool’s character that you had trouble grasping. It’s fine, just not your cup of tea haha. - Deadpool is essentially a gag character, but he is also a complex character. In this film he can be considered an antihero. He typically has good intentions and wants to help but he puts his own desires first and is perfectly fine getting his hands dirty. He’s not a bad person but he’s not necessarily a role model either. Other characters like this would be The Punisher, Catwoman, etc - People love his character lol. It’s supposed to be raunchy humor. Keep in mind this character exists in the world of comics. Imagine what a relief it is to have a character that will brazenly make dirty jokes and just not give a crap in a medium where all the characters are made to fit within the panels of a comic book - Breaking the 4th wall (speaking directly to the audience) is something that Deadpool does even in the comics. It all just feeds into him being this character that isn’t bound by the rules - His ability is another extension of this not being bound by the rules trait. He can heal from ANY injury. He’s unkillable. - lastly, it’s supposed to be over the top because that’s what Deadpool is. You have a mercenary that is constantly cracking jokes, aware that he’s a comic book character, and is unkillable. What do you do in those circumstances? He just chooses to treat life like a huge joke because in a way, it is for him
