The reason Deadpool keeps talking to the audience is part of his insanity. In the Marvel Universe, he's the only character that KNOWS he's in a comic book. The other characters have no idea who he's talking to and think he's insane because they can't see what he can due to his insanity. The other major change they made for the movie was the absence of the two other voices in his head. The voices of logic and insanity.

I was 4 when this came out. And I still remember it. I remember my grandpa, God rest his soul, took me to see it with my 13 year old uncle. It was scary and amazing and to this day I still tear up at the scene where they see the brachiosaurus for the first time. Then my grandpa told me he had the novel and I, as a precocious kid that learned to read early, remember asking if I could read it. While he did help me with the longer words, that was the first novel I ever read in my life. And it is a full on scifi/horror novel, unlike the movie which only has some horror elements. You think what happened to Nedry in the movie was bad? The book is ten times worse. Have to say, though, that I much prefer movie-Hammond to book-Hammond.

Movies are art. Art is supposed to make you feel something. That doesn't mean it has to be happy. You were invested and emotional the whole way. You dont have to like this movie but calling this movie bad discredits all individuals who worked to develop this piece. The Hulk has "limitless strength based on how angry he gets" via Comic book lore, but the reason he lost SO fast to Thanos at the beginning of the film is because he wasn't angry at all, and had just met Thanos for the first time... He was unprepared for the interaction.

Makes you wonder, Thanos would have never gotten all the stones and screwed things up and iron man would be alive if loki just left the tesseract on asgard to be destroyed by Mr giant fire eyebrow and black widow would still be alive for she wouldn't need to put the soul stone back and gamora would still be with quill and married and probably have children, but nope loki had to take it with, not that he knew but that's what happens with greed

19:30....YES the wand acted on its own. It sensed Voldemort as mortal enemy and protected Harry basically. It was even more dramatic in book. It was "golden flame" If I remember correctly. Even more interesting is that it is still unknown spell. Wand used magic that is not known in the books/lore :))) Maybe thats why Voldemort had no chance. I love this movie so much. You picked up on a few things I didn't, like how the family and the son was like a "real cowboy" linking it with the Western. I know this movie is supposedly a retelling of the Western which I haven't seen. One thing I realized on your reaction is once the Westchester Incident happened, Logan probably just ran and took Charles with him without question. He took on the responsibility as his son and he knew he was the only one who could do it. He's always been so burdened. It also makes sense in the beginning how he didn't care about anyone else. He had to take care of his dad above all else, even if it meant sacrificing a random little girl. And I'm sure someone else pointed it out, but when Charles dies in the back of the truck and says "our boat, the Sunseeker"... He died thinking that's where he was.
