I’m 20 years old and I really want to jump into the real estate world but I feel like people won’t trust me because I’m so young and unexpected I’d say. So I think for me it’s more so the fear of the lack of confidence people would have in me or than anything. It’s not that I don’t have confidence that I would make it, it’s more so I don’t think the buyers would have confidence in my expertise cause realistically someone would prefer a realtor who’s been in the industry for a long time than someone who just begun. Thank you for the insight and sharing with us.

Honestly I’d start with something smaller but in a sales position. Once you get some experience and decide you like it get your license in your early or mid 20s and you can crush it!

Do you have to find your own clients as a real estate agent? I thought the company you work for provides them for you? Also do you have like base pay and then commissions on top of that or is it just purely commissions?

In most cases you responsible for finding your own clients and the pay is 100% commission. If you join a team they may provide leads but will take a pretty big cut of the commission in return. Usually 50% or more.
