4 жыл бұрынI went to get a health certificate so I can travel home to Delhi, but it turned into a full-blown drama with me being forced to take a Covid-19 test and the Police and Media being called! Not to mention the doctors wanting to stick a swab up my nose and mouth in PUBLIC, in front of EVERYONE already watching. It's unbelievable.
4:41 Hospital: Nightmare Begins

So, yeah, bad day. My temperature tested at 36.1° which is normal and I've been in my hotel for the last 6 weeks because India has been in lockdown. The Police had been visiting me and I was registered with the Government. Not to mention I arrived in India November 5 last year, before the pandemic! So why did they stop me from leaving, call the media, and force me to take a Corona swab test?
Are they going to test all the other foreigners in India like this? I doubt it. I just think I had VERY bad luck with the doctor who was on duty. Because he went crazy-paranoid and made a lot of phone calls, by the time the Police came who knew me, it was too late.

Sorry for that, people are a bit skeptic nowadays. But their treatment towards you is a bit rude in the video. The protocol states that you need to be tested to cross state borders. So yeah a swab test for blah blah is required but the way to approach for that was way rude in my opinion. They should be gentle coz we are still human beings and not animals. Again sorry for all the inconvenience you felt there. Hey, i hope you get to travel back to Delhi. Stay safe 😄

Bit of advice, do not talk to Indian officials including the doctor in Hindi. Do not provide a full history of past and current travel plans. Simply say, I have to leave the country for......? By the way, I am fluent in Hindi.

If anything, it would provide more clarity and transparency and the fact that he speaks Hindi can only help him communicate better and prove he is not just a tourist. There is a difference between Muslims and "jamattis ". Jamattis were those Muslim people(from all around the world) who ran away to different parts like Hyderabad, mumbai etc & hid without informing Delhi police and during peak of corona in India and ended up as superspreaders in lockdown. Others states & media criticized Delhi police for that hence they were annoyed. Karl is confused here as well.

But this is what we have in just 3 months There is a reason every government in the world is panicking rn, a reason for it getting declared a pandemic. If only 15% of the people die ( which seems to be the lower number in most countries, with healthcare systems working in overdrive ) that's still 15% of a huge fucking number, which btw is rising exponentially

So glad you showed the landscape. It's not changed since the 50s. I attended Woodstock School in Mussoorie. And my mother passed away near there in Ludhiana, Punjab. So many memories of that area. Thank you again for sharing, even though it was not a good experience for you.

That's one the biggest issues we face in the western world especially in the united states. We treat doctors like gods forgetting the bigger picture/framework into which they operate. (Big pharma, corrupt academia that influences research in colaboration with Big pharma, govt agencies with all sorts of conflict of interest, Billionaires that have their agendas etc). Add this up, doctors remain literally handcuffed like in many cases in this pandemic.

You make the mistake of assuming anywhere doctors are intelligent people who listen to sound arguments or know what's actually correct. Most doctors know very very very little about health, especially in western countries. They only know what they're supposed to recommend you. They don't know why. They don't know what it truly does. They don't know the science and if it even works. Most just take what they're taught or told at face value. What's truly horrifying to me is people in India, Nepal, Pakistan, etc, are following in the west's footsteps with nonsense like ventilators when they're by all accounts and functional purposes useless for COVID, and likely actually harmful. They do not look into if it's the right treatment, they just assume it is because the west is doing it. The western doctors follow their orders from the head of the hospital, and thus don't question it. The Head Hospital is the closest link that may know the truth, and if they do it's simply explained as "well the oxygen machines aren't closed-system so we need to use ventilators that are so the virus doesn't spread." Makes sense, unless you actually have medical knowledge and know that Bipad machines have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT functionality to a ventilator and are not at all interchangeable.

Australia has controlled it to a large extent and PM stated as per medical guidelines that masks are unnecessary for general public unless there are corona symptoms . Indian system is more into bureaucratic muddle. Gurgaon based Korean company tried its best to provide testing kits @ Rd 360 per kit but it took exactly 50 days to finalize the order. This order was placed only after they donated 25000 kits. Same with Masks....Purposely promoted for certain reasons.
