Yeah it takes patience but that is just the way it is. My dad had patience with me when I was 2/3 years old to teach me some of the fundamentals of fishing. Hey man I was watching some of your older videos in New Jersey when you solo boat fishing. You should get a 5’ conventional reel boat/jigging rod. They’re perfectly made for jigging bucktails and big fish.

What was the size of your line, and do you use leader on those Jack's?

30 and 40lb braid with 40lb Flouro leader connected with and FG knot. I use to use 50lb leader but it makes a huge difference using for 40 or even 30lb leader. Especially if the water is extremely clear.

I’m always scared when other people handle my hooks tied to my line to vice versa who ever is holding the rod my jolt and hook the person deep. I always put the rod down when I’m handling lures/hooks

Rich, I am from PA and am traveling to vero beach FL to fish in the Indian river off of kayaks. What size line do you recommend? I currently have 25lb line on both rods. I’m looking to fish for whatever bites since I’m new to fishing in FL.

25lbs should be fine. Personally I prefer having one lighter rig with 10 or 15lbs but if that's what you already have spooled then it should be fine. Is it braid or mono? You'll want a couple leader options. I'd say keep it simple with 30lbs leader but have 50lbs with you just in case you get cut and need to upsize

Hmmm I’m not 100% sure. I may of heard that live mullet go for $2 a piece. But not from a bait shop. Typically from a live bait boat that sit outside the ramp with bait to sell to people who are launching their boats.

The fishing parts are really good, but dude you really drone on and on . The fishing is 1/4 to 1/3 and you droneing on is everything else. I always find it interesting watching a person who doesn’t fish, try to fish. I don’t think I’d have the patience to be a guide. It’s not a knock on his gf or anyone else, everything fishing related just seems so common sense to me that it’s hard to watch someone not grasp the simple concepts of what’s going on.
