Does anybody feel discriminated against because of their tattoos? Maybe at work? I feel a bit out of touch with this subject.

I recently got my first hand tattoos and felt the same sense of liberation. I have ampersands (&) on my hands - inspired by a gift from a friend long ago. When I moved away, quite possibly the last time I would see him, he handed me an "&" stolen from a street sign (we were easily amused back then). I thanked him for the gift and asked WTF it was for... he said "something always comes after an "and," and then he closed the door without saying goodbye. To this day "&" (originally the 27th letter of the alphabet) has represented so much to me and I've passed the same sentiment on to many people. Madison.... &

I share a similar story to you. When I turned 18 I got a music tattoo across the face of my inside forearm so that every time I looked at myself or tried to get an office job I’d be reminded of what I’m supposed to do. I recently got an inside finger tattoo relating to Music again to further derail options for anything else other then Music and where my heart and soul reside. It’s funny how we’ll build a cage around ourselves to protect our art. Respect brother

I had a couple of tattoos, but they weren't removed. They faded away. Must be my body chemistry, as they were done at two different studios, years apart. I grow older and my memories begin to fade, as do my tattoos.

I don't even have Tattoos, I only get a tattoo if I join the 52 club, but that will never happen. Maybe someday I will get a ace tattooed on my arm.

Just had a tattoo shop open up in my town, and now I'm dying for more ink. My favorite tattoo so far is the cherry blossom tree on my forearm, in Japanese ink drawing style. I got it after spending 2 weeks in the hospital with a collapsed lung, as a reminder that happiness is a fleeting gift and should not be taken for granted.

I've just finished watching the video and I can definitely have changed as person from 2000 to 2018. You are really open and very vulnerable and very genuine! I would have never thought. And your absolutely right. People Are living the life 9-5. Its considered as normal. People follow the social norm and they just want to slave away. I believe is because people dont like change. I actually considered getting tattoos foot a while now and I want to get a tattoo based on a superhero that I created as a child because in my vision that was the most important part that resulted in me now and this is what i would consider a tribute to all the people that made me what i am and i said i would consider because i really don't want to start with something small because in the country i live in (Romania) having tattoos is not very common so i wanna prove that i exist with that tattoo but at the same time i kinda have this fear in me regarding what people would say. Don't have any tattoo, I guess besides growing up in a generally conservative (should i say traditional?) family, I do not think that I would like one thing long enough to have it permanently. Not like an ornament or clothes where i could just take it off when I didn't like it or think it suits the environment at the time. Or maybe that should not be a concern at all?

Don't you think that the tattoos on your hands break up the outline of your hands and help hide sleights?

I like the look of tattoos, and definitely want to get some, but I don’t know what the first one should be. Do you think it would be better to wait and make it a special thing that means a lot, or just think of it as „another tattoo“ and not wait as long, but maybe have it have less of a meaning?

How to make money if you don't live by someone else's rules (wake up, go to work, come back, free time, sleep, repeat)? Like all the money you got is from the decks of cards that you are selling?

Personally, I have never gotten, not will I ever get, any tattoos. Not that I am against them or anything like that, I love tattoos and I believe them to be beautiful works of art on a human skin canvas, it's just that I hate the pain of needles piercing my skin, aka getting shots or having blood drawn at a doctor's office. Another reason I won't get any tattoos is because I am Jewish by birth, atheist by choice. I will never get a tattoo because of the tattoos Jews were forced to get during World War II. It would feel disrespectful to me to voluntarily get one after knowing what they went through. However, having said all that, IF I were to get a tattoo, it would be that of a zombie Pac-Man high on marijuana with a sudden case of the munchies. As awesome as Pac-Man's appetite is now, can you even imagine how big it would be if he was like that?
