I bought it two years ago but never spent much time figuring out all its potential. Thanks to your video I made a few awesome patches. Also, I find Tone Lib a lot better than Guitar Lab, it's faster and more intuitive.

Awesome. Glad I could be of service. I like Tome Lib a lot better also. Just remember that there is a few sounds that are NOT loaded to the unit by default, & you have to use Guitar lab 1 time only, & send those few sounds over. The you are good to go. Only have to do it one time. It's an awesome little unit. I use it all the time for my complete Bass rig. I use that right into my loop station for my solo live looping show, & I love it.

Just have this one today. Great little multi fx ! I think the sounds is great, but the presets... some okay, some need major tweaking. I always suggest to read the manuals and understand the fx you're going to use (kinda boring, but I love to experiment). You do not need all 5 fx slots. I can get great drive sound with just a preamp (the mxr di+ ) and a comp. And clean tone, sometimes you don't need amp or cab model at all! I just use DI5 and a black comp, and that's a great clean bass tone (your result may vary with your bass). totally agree on the STOMP mode function. Having the up and down footswitch to select/bypass multiple fx would be great. Or even snapshot function like the Helix, that would be wild...

Just to be honest, I was kinda curious when this popped into my feed, prob won’t watch the whole thing, as I’ve already committed to a fender mustang V and also a katana artist combo. But I just want to bump you up to 100 views and help the small channel with the algorithm. 👍

I’m wanting to get into bass, I saw a video saying that you can practice silently with this? So I could plug my bass into this with head phones and that’s all I need? Or would I need an amp too

You could absolutely use it that way. Then when you get an amp, you can use it in front of the amp effects, or for recording. Many uses for this unit.

Just be advised that when using it that way the volume is very low. Plugging it into a small practice amp and using the amp's headphone jack produces much better results. That's what I found anyway.

@@db_98765 thank you very much, would you recommend I just buy an amp instead? Because all I’m going to do is play through headphones tho
