I’m 6’5” and 240, trust me. Highway bars, flat floor boards and pushing the bars forward make it a whole new machine. We have the exact same bike.

Agreed with all points. I'm 5'11" too and weight about 215 at the moment. I sorta wonder if I should've gone to a Chief, Low Rider or Softail, but every time I ride I remember why I bought it because it's just fun to ride. The small gas tank needs to be addressed too. Would've been nice if they could've given an option for a larger tank (even something like 4 gal) that wouldn't look out of place, but would give you more like 150 miles before you had to look for a gas station.

Thanks for watching! I bought those exhaust from Amazon but they no longer sell them. If you google “Draculextreme 4.0 Chubby Rich Exhaust” I’m sure you can find them somewhere else.

Got one in July and have 1800 on it now. Weather slowed down the riding the last few months. The style of the bike is what made me buy it for sure. I like the size of the bike because I feel it handles so well being low and light weight, and the tank isn't an issue for me as I don't ride very long trips. What I did do for comfort was replace the factory rear shocks with Progressive 444's (I didn't have the piggy backs), replaced the grips with Vans, and replaced the foot pegs with Joker Machine longs. I modded my mufflers as well so now they look similar to yours and sound way better that stock. It is a fantastic bike and I plan to keep it for a long time to come. There are rumors circulating that Polaris is about to release details of a newly designed Scout....
@paulsgonerogue4 ай бұрын
Nice sounds like you made a lot of good upgrades, I need to replace the foot pegs next. It’ll be interesting to see if they really redesign the scout in the near future. Thanks for watching!

I have a scout rogue sixty. I love it for the most part! love the design, love the power, love the mini apes and uniqueness. I get ALOT of compliments on it. I don't really like how the stock exhaust sounds. I absolutely HATE the stock shocks lol. I do wish there was a bit more gas, but it's just one of those things I guess.

I find myself limited in options due to the engine. That liquid cool, low displacement (in comparison) is the way to go. My old Aprilia Mille dyno'd at 115 rwhp which was great. Wish they would stick the FTR 1200 motor in a cruiser. Otherwise it's the same old crap with huge motor, low HP and excessive weight. I've decided on a KTM 1290 as my replacement for now. The 1700cc V-Max has the same problem with tiny gas tank, probably much worse.

What do you think about the suspension? heard the 2in travel does give a bumpy ride.
@paulsgonerogue4 ай бұрын
The stock suspension kinda sucks, I would recommend swapping them out as soon as you buy this bike. The piggy back and fox shocks are a easy fix to that
@thebigempty_57924 ай бұрын
That's an understatement - I ended up upgrading to Progressive 444 with 3 turns on the pre load - huge difference and kept me from selling my Scout. Stock shocks were so bad and I'd heard the chatter about how bad they were, but I still bought a 21 Scout ABS. They were so bad, I'd hit bumps and the hits would run up my spine into my neck. I like to take 100-300 mile Texas country road rides, but I couldn't wait to get off this bike. The progressive 444 helped a lot.

Without a pv3 llyods tune your bike is underperforming. I put a hurican intake, freedom 2 into 1 exhaust and llyods tune. 1st gear 57 mph, 2nd gear 80 mph. The bike is heavily regulated and llyods opens it up. Check out my look.

@paulsgonerogue I'm just saying 3rd gear throttle body doesn't even open up 100%. Indian got the bike retarded. Open her up, and you'll cruise and have more power on tap if need be.

Well if it had a taller stance and a large fuel tank you wouldn't' have been drawn to its styling in the first place. Enjoy the ride, it's just sick looking! Get a larger cruiser if you find yourself doing big rides.
