It’s admirable considering the restrictions Chris was faced with, it also makes a lot more sense why the skull melting was cut now, always thought that looked great given how little money they had.

It's more sad than anything. A young man who is full of creativity and ambition, stifled and made to feel evil for wanting to create. Super ambitious for a teen filmmaker and it's clear why Chris has risen to the level he has as a content creator.

@@mr.historyg735 Chris was a Jehovahs Witness from childhood to about 24 years old. They are a very restrictive cult who use psychological manipulation and shunning to keep members from leaving. They don’t approve of things like movies and video games etc, unless of course they come from the organisation itself, they especially dislike violence in what they call “Wordly” media. Chris most likely did not use the effects shot of the skull melting to avoid getting in trouble with his elders, for how graphic it is. They would probably say that it displeases Jehovah or something along those lines and punish him in some way if he had used it. Chris has a full video on how messed up his childhood and teenage years were in that cult. My shoddy explanation doesn’t do it justice. Scary stuff!

It sucks he was raised that way but I will say I think the fact that he made his Indiana Jones and all his other movies as a Jehovah’s Witness makes his old movies even more impressive And as much as he does make fun of how bad they are Im glad he’s proud he made them It’s just sad nobody else in that faith really saw his potential
