Yes, you can fix everything...provided if you have the knowledge, experience, parts, time, right tools, and patience.

I have found out through extensive testing is that with time the supplied USB power adapter no longer provides enough amperage (probably a failing capacitor in the power USB adapter). A simple solution is to get a new USB power adapter. It worked for me.

I tied a new usb charger, and same result. Probably, the damaged occured via voltage spike. I have since put everyting on a UPS.

Is the new company that took over from ismartalarm really just ismartalarm and now they want to charge us? I can’t get my cube or anything else to work anymore, the “new” app does recognise the cube and my camera but when I tap them it says they need to be updated. When I tap to update it says they can’t be updated as they are not on the same WiFi as my phone (that the app is on)? Can you help with this? Thank you.

Thats correct. Your router (which your ispot is connected to) must have the same wifi as your phone. Also the wifi cannot be 5 or _ext if your using a wifi extender. So, go to your phone settings and chose the same wifi name as your ispot is on.

@@farmboyfixes it is on the same WiFi that the cube is on, but the cube is plugged in via a cable, not the WiFi but both the cube and phone are on the same router, I just get a message on the app that says that they are not on the same WiFi network. Any way to fix?

Well, if both your ispot and phone have the same wifi name, then only thing I can think of is to reset your ispot {small hole in the back). Maybe also try rebooting your phone. Maybe try to delete the app and reinstall it.

I was also having all kinds of issues. Updated to the new app and the alarm still functioned but would no longer call or text when it went off. My icamerKeep pros will not work on the new app and my spot camera works better than it ever has. Now my wife's account can't access any of the same devices. I just took it all down and replaced with Ring system. It's way more consistent and better so far. Looking for camera options to use with it because Ring cameras are pricey.

Yeah, I lost the call and text too, only notifications.

Ismartalarm inc is no longer trading, they transfered the camera's services back to meshare, there sister cloud streaming company. Hence why some of the devices aren't working anymore. From what I've read online they shut the company down to save money and to avoid paying out to the third party company's like IFTTT, Amazon and Google for there services. Futhermore they used another third party company in the EU/UK called Ihealthlabs/ adonhealth to run the EU/UK servers, however I do believe Iheathlabs and adohealth is all under a umbrella company in china. Zac Sutton Co-founder / marketing director of Ismartalarm left 3 years ago to join Meshare, since then the company has been shutting down and selling off all there stock. We now have around 10 months to find a replacement system for home security alarms and cameras.
