When Tim said proximity won't get you saved or delivered, you got to put in that work. My overchurched flesh thought what about proximity to Yeshua...but then it hit me how much work I've had to put in to grow in intimacy with Him. When you've lived as a wild dog (not a well trained one) and you hand The Master control over your leash, it's still work to stay close to Him and not chase squirrels and anything with peanut butter!

I don't discard or disregard slavery. But I can say if my ancestors were brought here, the way they got here wasn't good, but I'm grateful that they came. "All things work together for the good..." doesn't mean all things are good going through it. I've been to other countries, and I'm soooo thankful for this one. My grandmother refused to let us use color as a reason for not prospering. She said, "White people owe you nothing, and if you want to have a pity party, don't expect me to bring balloons!"

I literally had to come back and watch the part where Uncle Tim was chewing us out about forgiving our parents and setting healthy boundaries. I wish someone would put just that snippet online. I’d watch it every time my parents do something that makes me want to condemn them to hell lol. Forgiveness is a daily decision, but setting healthy boundaries allows you to protect your peace. I need a daily reminder 47:03

This was my first time listening in and all I can say is I’m grateful for everything said.
