Season 9 was my first HC season and it was fun to watch y'all. I hadn't picked up Minecraft for over 10 years and the entertainment you guys brought inspired me to go back and play. This was a lot of fun from beginning to end.

It makes me sad that this season is ending but I'm happy for the new season to come. Have a happy holiday everyone see you all in the new season.

On the topic of chasing meta and doing massive projects only getting bigger and bigger. I have not seen many, if any, fanarts, fanimation or compilation of anyone's megabuild. Not one. Okay the 3d-print of Tango's castle... but that is it. But I still quote and think about random chance events when one hermit interacted with another hermit. Any soup group content is fun, any zedaph invites someone for a zedvancement is fun, any random wild scar popping up and shooting someones priced horse is ... well fun... any etho slain or punched by gem is fun... the builds are impressive but really they are backdrops to the stage of the play we all came to watch. Cool if you are happy with how you painted that backdrop but it is a backdrop. This is why the life series is great for instance.

Emotional doesn't even begin to cover it. But also excited. It's over, I loved it, I've been saying it on your other vid and on all the other hermits ones. But yeah, season 10? The smell of a new world? New ideas and projects? Yeah, excited. Thank you for all of this, Impulse Son of Durin. It was a great Dig!

I loved the industrial district. It would be cool if next time farms were incorporated in your base so that your base has more purpose! Great season ❤❤❤

You were talking about the balance between mega-bases and just hanging out, and I think the Soup Group did it really well. From Day 1 you didn't get geared up, set up farms or mine for diamonds. You made mushroom soup and raided a woodland mansion just to be ridiculous." But in the end, your bases are amazing too.

I like how you mentioned putting things into a cloud for "in case you're house goes up in flames or something" and I literally am just going through this and have lost so much. 😢 However, I'm loving all your content and can't wait for next season. The way all of you hermits interact with each other has helped keep me in good spirits and given me something to take my mind off of the fire. So thank you!

I have that situational awareness thing too where I have to be facing doors and what not. My cousin has it too. We both grew up in a bad area and needed to be alert in case of shootings so we've attributed it to that.

I honestly can’t handle more than one Minecraft thing at a time too, and if I’m not particularly loving any one thing at a time either I will bounce between the few things from one week or two to the next until I settle into one naturally for a long time. MAnd this is me talking about survival worlds, and multiplayer like MCC Island. When MCC island closed beta came out and I got a ticket I couldn’t focus on my survival worlds for months while playing the server. I used to also heavily mess around in hypixel parkour houses and while I was enjoying each thing I couldn’t move on in my survival worlds.

My favorite cyberpunk movies are the Blade Runner movies. I also think that the movie Dark City might fit the vibe you’re going for (on the dystopian side).

Can you all as red stone hermits make a fully connected farm system. Were one farms fills another automatically. A fully cycled system that can sort, refill, autosmelt and you don’t have to tansport anything to get items. The most automated integrated efficient system ever. Even the autocraft feature would be wonderful. You can autosort the items into a store front and with a push on the button activate a certain part of the farm when stock gets low. When you all need less grinding you can focus on other stuff together. And I’m curious what solutions you can come up with to make this system happen. I think this would be a new redstone challenge for you all.

He should totally play stray. I think he would love it. A 3-4 hour stream and the game is done.

I've really enjoyed S9, especially the Soup Group and how amazing your base was. Are you going to be building another iBuy? Also, does it feel odd you're not going to be editing so much?

Not to make you bite off more than you need to while on your break, nor soon after in the continuation of your Vault Hunters play, but there is a way to make moving staircases using Create. By every means, leave that in your back pocket for a later date if you need to--better than stressing yourself out with trying to learn a complex, but cool mod. It's not hard, just very...involved. Mumbo has a pretty good idea of how to use Create, but if he's not available for a couple lessons in the basics, you could ask anyone else you know who's fiddled with it. Being able to ask questions while poking around to figure it out on your own terms can feel a little better than watching vids, though there are many very well made ones out there. Right off, I can give you a couple answers about how it might work in advance of you needing to ask: firstly--and the most important tool of all mod tools _ever_ made--use the *Ponder* function! It may not be as comprehensive as a complete encyclopedia of "How To Build The Stupid, But Very Necessary Thing!", but it usually has the answer to your questions. The block that serves as the basis of the movement _can_ rotate a full 180°, or just 90° with stop bumpers. You can orient your builds to be at the 45s if you really want, but the one-two switch is the main limitation for a full motion cycle accomplished by a different machine block.

I would think if ya'll build close together, it would get laggy as hell. I can see like with season 9 having a starter village of types then spread out a little for the mega bases. Also, like you did, have farms further away from the starter village and bases to help with lag there.

I know I’m just one person and maybe my opinion is not in consensus with the majority, but for me the builds don’t need to be mega.. I like the smaller stuff.. like a village with multiple smaller builds..

You should just build yourself a Homelab . Setup your own Server w/ Rack for Storage, etc. You can also pay for Services to have Cloud Backups for redundancy.

It would be so cool if you and tango based together and just made a Redstone farm wonderland base just nothing but autocrafters and mega farms as far as the eye could see 😂

My thoughts, three mega bases is not the problem. It's that the whole project is mega. If after you had the bare bones of the Great Keep done. You then seperated all the other rooms smaller. You then have content to show on KZfaq. The mega projects had huge portion for each video. Giving you KZfaq release stress. That my rough thoughts can be wrong, also not the ideal language and choice of words for this comment. Loved you videos this season, enjoyed your vods more 😁 (I listen to them like podcasts while I work)

I never liked shaders either. The darkness (caves etc) is too dark and the light (outside) is too bright. It's good for cinematic shots but not in normal gameplay

I was kind of expecting them to build a memorial for tfc, maybe as a community thing. I totally understand grieving has nothing to do with being vocal about it, but it was his final season on hermitcraft. And he was here for so long. I get that something like that would require a lot of time and energy and what not but was thinking that it would have been a nice gesture before calling it a wrap up. Even though i did not follow his content, at all (i started watching hc in 2019), he had some of the oldest hermitcraft audience, so um sure theyd appreciate. Amazing season otherwise.

Gonna miss this season. Your base is amazing. That being said, LC is literally so boring to watch. Honestly cant stand it. When you stream that, I rewatch Phasmo or Hermit. No interest in that game what so ever.
