The best decision Elizabeth made was to leave work for five years and take care of her children. She attributes this might not be case with most mothers due to different challenges and praises her husband for being the leader of their home
She is also grateful that after all that her husband kept his word and now she runs a couple of businesses and gets all the support she needs
On this episode of LNS, she will be walking us through her marriage journey, what submission and leadership really looks like and why true love is a gift

Stay at home moms tumefikiwa💃 listening to Elizabeth is so encouraging. I started this journey of being a SAHM 2 years ago and boy it's not easy, you loose friends, you get to moments you question if you did the right thing to quite a high flying job to stay home and watch the kids. But I am encouraged when I see people who have gone before me on this journey and have succeeded. Indeed having a supportive partner helps big time. God bless you Lynn and your guests today.

Lovely inspiring story. Am a SAHM since 2020 (after loosing my job) . We live outside Kenya so getting a nanny or help is quite expensive. I do everything and have 3 and 17 month old boys. It can be thought very tough, draining and exhausting but is it worth it yes!! 100 percent. We made the decision with my husband and we see it has really benefited the kids having one of us constantly with them. We had to tighten our belts and do lots of sacrifices ( not millionaires YET) 😂😂. The age of 0-3 (at least) is super important to children as their brains grow so fast. That foundation is important. Of course not everyone can do it but I do thank God that am able to do it. Once the little one turns 2 this year am back to looking for a job or start a business as God leads us.

What a wonderful man is that God!! It is very shocked me ,a man to decide his wife to stay home to take care of their children. My daughter please take care of your kids until at a certain stages it has to do with your kid's future. At a certain stages where you can take them to school 🏫 and you can get an after school daycare which you can see that is proper for your kids where you see that your kids feel comfortable.ANS AS YOU ARE TALKING GOD PRAY FOR EVERY THING WHAT YOU WANT TO DO MY DEAR. THAT'S WHAT I ADVISE MY DAUGHTER TO DO WHEN SHE GOT AT THAT STAGE BECAUSE SHE IS STILL YOUNGER KEEP YOUR FAMILY. BE YOU, YOUR KIDS AND YOUR HUSBAND BE ONLY THREE IN ONE EE MEME FROM NAMIBIA 🇳🇦 SADC

I'd say such marriages are built on faulty foundations. Because a man who loves his wife would not want to make her miserable. So it could be the men don't love their wives, or don't know how to love anyone even themselves because a wife is an extension of her husband. Or they are behaving like their parents - he didn't see his father demonstrate love to his mom so he acts the same way, consciously or subconsciously. Or he has unaddressed trauma from his past or present that hinders his ability to love/show love/be vulnerable to his wife.
@boohookidscreations8003
@boohookidscreations8003 Жыл бұрын
@@NazarofGod You shared a great truth, most people imitate what they saw at home, and that's how these traumas are passed on generation after another since our children will see the same and think it's the way things are done. Even a marriage with good intentions is not immune from this cycle of generational trauma.

It is the other way round. A man needs a supportive wife coz the man should be the main participant in marriage, the foundation, who needs help from a wife. God designed that way. But these days many men have absconded their godly assigned position loading it over to the wife such that the dysfunctional (men to support women) has become the norm.... This family is the role model of how God designed marriage.

Yes after my masters I’ll willingly and gladly be a housewife. Traveling and sees places, but also having been in this corporate world abit it’s exhausting. Yes I love the money I make but I feel called towards parenthood differently
