My favorite chili is just freshly ground spices and dry red chili's, onion, garlic, and big chunks of tender beef. But that's harder to make so I usually go ground meat and beans.

Just made my first batch of chili with dried beans and chiles, holy fricken moly. I also stacked the deck using chuck tender chunks, and some leftover BBQ (p.pork, brisket, st louis rib). First chilli I've had where I ate my first bowl, and leftovers the next day without even wanting to add cheese 😂 bomb ass shit. I need to vacuum freeze whats left.
