I’ve been told that the tradesman lacks in insulation around the cabs versus the big horn and up. How does the cab noise in this compare to the Laramie you had?
@MountainMindsetАй бұрын
I’ve honestly never noticed a difference. Now that you say that, I’ll be listening every time I drive the truck! 🤣🤣🤣 You’re probably right on there being a difference though. Seems like there was an option on my Laramie for insulated front door glass too but I’m not sure about that. It only makes sense that they would skimp out on the tradesman. I’ll try and pay attention to it tomorrow and see if I can tell a difference. 👍🏻

How much weight is on that trailer and does it pull it good in your opinion
@MountainMindset3 ай бұрын
Trailer and excavator together is 20K plus. Pulls really good in my opinion. I really enjoy this setup.

Nice whip. Does that have factory rear air bag suspension?
@MountainMindset7 ай бұрын
Thanks! No factory air suspension. I thought about it then cheaper out. Lol!
@wallyyuriy89127 ай бұрын
@@MountainMindset ok. Well I’d take the big fuel tank over air bags. Which my dually didn’t come with. Kinda choked about that
@MountainMindset7 ай бұрын
@@wallyyuriy8912 the bigger fuel tank has been great in every way! Way less fuel stops! Lol. I felt like I was always stopping for fuel in my mega cab!

Will a 2024 Ram 2500 Big Horn 6.4L tow a trailer?

I’ve heard people say it will but only if you pull the mirrors out. 🤷🤣🤣🤣

Took the gooseneck out of the other truck….. seriously ? Left a hole in the bed for the next guy ?
@MountainMindset6 ай бұрын
Why would I give it away? I wasn’t getting any more money by leaving it in the truck. The next guy? He can negotiate that if he buys it. 🤷
@gtowncasey1116 ай бұрын
I guess we just disagree fundamentally. You created a 4” hole in the bed. So you pull out the device filling the hole? Not a good way of conducting business in my opinion. Ever sell a house? Things that are attached to the walls like TV mounts stay.
@MountainMindset6 ай бұрын
@@gtowncasey111 I saved the next guy the trouble of drilling the holes. If he’s watching, you’re welcome! Seriously though it was MY truck and the dealership knew the hole was there. I’m not seeing the issue. If the next guy doesn’t want a hole in the bed of a used truck, he should move on and buy a different one. Problem solved.
@RandolphClayMartin3 ай бұрын
I've seen some come with 5 hole for 5 wheel so if you're buying it for the same reason he was using it for why would it matter? Just leave it on the lot if the holes are an issue right?
@gtowncasey1113 ай бұрын
@@MountainMindsetyou probably could have negotiated a better price on the sell side too if you would have left it in there. Either way I wouldn’t have done it because my values are different, you seem like an every man for himself type guy. And I’m sure your decisions of not paying anything forward probably put you on the same side of things in life that you put the new buyer in by ripping a 400 dollar hitch out. You reap what you sew brother. Cheers
