Great board! I think I could live with that for years and years :-)

The MXR analog chorus is one of my favorites too. I want to try the new boss Dimension Waza chorus tho. If you use the polytune or unitune clip on tuner that will free up a little more space. They are great tuners unless you need the tuner for a mute switch. JHS makes a cool little mute switch. One of those barefoot button Talboy switches would be great too so you can reach it or maybe put one on the delay tap tempo.

EBS Gold are the best. I got all 3 sizes and have had NO problem in 2 yrs. Be careful with your electrical connections not to get bent when in or out of case. I tuck my front connects underneath for safety. Also mark them so you know which go where for fast hook up. I have 18v and 2 -3 outs daisy chains and some need enough pwr to get their own connects. 2-3 yrs and no real problems or noises. 12 pedals ,Ghostfire med board. Get a butter knife to remove pedals. Saves the velco peeling off.

I'd extend the Feet (under the pedalboard) and place the Always On Compressor, Underneath the pedalboard. I just picked up a Pedaltrain Nano for my small 3 pedal Acoustic rig. (el cap, blue sky, boss dc2w) Nice build. You maxed-out the space for sure.
@MitchthePunk21132 жыл бұрын
How did you extend the feet? Just got one myself and it's a bit too flat for me.

The board sounds fantastic, and gave me a good sense of the size of the board before I go off and get my own. Also I really need to know where that riff is from at the end, sounded killer

Cool board, any special reason you place the OCD so late in the chain? Does it normally not come direct after the tuner?
@nostalgiajunkie5 жыл бұрын
sfssf definitely gonna want your compressor as close to the front of the chain as possible. He’s using his modulation in front of his dirty pedals for the sound, I mean it’s semi unorthodox, but to each their own. It sounds fantastic with every pedal on like he shows at the end.
@MadebyMiike5 жыл бұрын
I subscribe to everything Joshua Blou t said :-) Tuner into Comp is standard practice. The placement of the OCD is taste. I find modulation AFTER distortion/overdrive to be to much of a soundchanger (especially since the MXR phaser has no wet control). When I play distorted, I want the distortion to be front and center, and the modulation to add just a little bit of flavour. So I keep my mod pedals BEFORE the OCD and Green Mile. Green Mile is a low gain pedal, so it becomes stackable when put before the OCD. EQ should change the sound of every pedal before (except delay), so it's almost at the end. Delays and reverbs come at the end.... ...for me. Bear in my mind, this is just my personal taste. For example, I heard great sounds when the delay was IN FRONT of a distortion pedal (distorted repeats), but that was an ambience band without any vocals (think Russian Circles). It really depends on what YOU like and need. Hope this helps, thanks for watching! - Mike

@@MadebyMiike Very cool, thanks. I was really impressed by the green mile. I now have a Boss SD-1 which I use to boost the dist. but now I am considering replacing it with the green mile.

Cool video. 8 small pedals though. I have a Whammy 5, Cry Baby, EHX Small Clone, Overlord fuzz and some other DOD pedals plus, a small multi effects pedal. I don’t think this nano board is right for me. Now I know why its called a Nano pedal board lol

Look for a Caline P-1. Will handle all pwr requirements and won't break the bank. Can get this for around $45-50. Big pwr ,small enough size.
