Sold out 🥲 When the next patch will be available? May I mention few suggestions for version 2: * POE, for power and data. * Utilize the spare I/O's to to add IR blasts to make universal IR remote. * Optional case with corner base (to fix the sensor on the room corner). Amazing project and excellent job buddy 👏

PERFECT! I have made mine very, very similar with minor differences. Of course DIY means that it costs me fraction of yours but yours is now the commercial product! Making it with battery solves the issue of temperature and humidity inaccuracy but when mmwave sensor is in and enabled (that I have done configurable, as well as PIR sensor) the battery life is hugely affected. But still: SUPER NICE! CONGRATULATIONS.

What an awesome sensor! Very inspiring! I have been walking around with the idea of putting a mmwave sensor in my mailbox to detect unwanted people hanging around near my front door. And now that I know how extremely well it works, this will definitely be my project for the December holidays! 🤓

Nice! It's difficult to wire the cable through the stand for integrity reasons but also because it rotates and spins. There is holes through the back of the case which thin wire does passthroigh however

Amazing job on this Lewis, thanks for all your hard work and commitment, this is a huge contribution to the community. Also in future versions please consider PoE for power and data, audio, vibration, co2 and voc sensors,. Would any of the existing GPIO be able to accommodate these? and while you’re at it maybe even a physical button/switch for tactile input if that’s not too much to ask 😉 🤞🙃 Also, wondering does the Bluetooth allow for proximity sensor/connection to devices like iPhones and apple watches for increased automations? Home about HomeKit integration as well pretty please. Basically I think we all just want one device to rule them all. So keep up the good work and we look forward to the evolution. Thanks so much!! 🙏

I love the design. Buy what you need, skip what you don't, easily add functionality later. It would be great if a few more makers developed devices made to work with Home Assistant. Looks fantastic! I personally do what I can to avoid adding WiFi devices, but it's definitely the way to get this going as a saleable product. This is so exciting. I ordered three of these on Day 1, really looking forward to using these. Thanks for being so clear in this video about how the occupancy and timeouts work, Lewis. Is there a reason you recommend the 60-second occupancy timeout? On my FP1/P1 setups, I try for the fastest de-occupancy I can get, so that the lights they control will operate in near real time--I'm not really keen on having the lights linger for up to 1.5min before they turn off. Are you finding false negatives or lights turning off while you're still in the room? Congrats on the launch of the Everything Presence One!
@EverythingSmartHome
@EverythingSmartHome Жыл бұрын
Awesome! It's totally up to you and you can control it however you want - I think personally 60s for occupancy works well and reduces the potential for any false positives while still being very fast - I don't think I'd want the lights turning off within 2s of leaving the room incase I'm coming back - but again, entirely up to you and that's the beauty of this 😅
