The press likes drama and trust me, they don't care who did the wrong and who did the right. They just want something to write about and if Joe is painted as one, his career is going down so ming is actually right.

About Sol and Joe- remember that the first wounds in love Joe had them with Sol, not with Ming. Joe had a huge crush on Sol, he wanted to be with him a lot, but Sol- even knowing Joes feelings choose the way of celebrety, leaving Joe desilusioned- Sol left without informing Joe! In novel is more detailed. During years Joe moved on with Ming- well, he loves him more than everything, despite all bad things happened cause of a huge misunderstanding for Ming and also a long time emotional manipulation from Tong. We see already how much Ming will redempt and show his love for Joe. Sol came after some years back to the one who was abandoned by him, cause he wants now a relation with him...? Remember that Ming felt imediatly the connection with Joes soul in elevetor- but Sol felt nothing with Joe. All the time, Ming had a strange feeling about the new Joe being the old Joe- but not Sol. For those willing to have a Sol-Joe, I would say- yes, Sol is maybe better than Ming, but in any other context he would not be a lucky choice at all. Like "I love you, I am telling you this, you know it so well, but you choose to perform for yourself and only after some years (years!) you come back to me, to tell me "I was thinking better, I want to be with you, now I have everything I wanted and the only thing I need is a relation with the one who loved me more than I did, I mean you..."? He is doing now everything to take Joe back. Just because everyone was impressed by Mings toxic behaviour, how can you not see that the first toxic behaviour belonged to Sol? Leaving me just like that- not even telling me that you are going on your way? Like I dont deserve at least a "goodbye, sorry, but I am more important for me now, than you"? No way! Sol isnt a green flag at all- think clear and cold- he was just better than Ming- but definitly not an option in real love issues.

When Ming hugged Joe in the middle of the street, I was thinking they could get hit by a car. Now if Ming had pushed Joe out the way and took the hit, I might have hated ming a little less.

So last time Ming thought he confirmed the new Joe is the old Joe, but then when the body was found, he was caught off guard and thought he was wrong. He originally thought Joe did some kind of surgery and changed his face. Then he got reminded on the funeral by Joe's reaction

Sol protecting Joe I get it he doesn't want the person he loves to have the same fate as the old Joe but the reality is old Joe had moved on from Sol and even though he is in new Joe body he is still that old Joe that has moved on who is pissed at Ming but at the same time still has some feeling for Ming and until he works through that he will never ever move on. What I respect about Wut maybe him being older has something to do with it he doesn't really want Joe to really interact with Ming/Tong but he will respect Joe decision but will be there if he needs him and will ensure that he watches over him to not repeat the past and I think that's what I need from Sol to trust Joe granted Joe isn't the best decision maker but it his life. The concept of karma (good/bad)/fate/destiny/reincarnation maybe heavily placed in the novel and it's somewhat hinted throughout the show and sometimes things have to play out a certain way to fix what happened in the past. This is one of the best shows this season thanks to obviously stellar writing, acting and production. The preview showing Tong being Tong still really pissed me off and for once I hope everyone stand their ground and destroy his career.

I haven’t read the book so idk for sure but somehow deep down I still don’t believe that this is the end of the story for Joe’s own body🧐🤔; I could be overthinking, but this is a Chinese novel after all😅, knowing how Chinese authors are like, something tells me that there’s more to it than what’s being shown on the surface in this ep; The soul jumping was sci-fi to begin with, so why would the writer let Joe just stuck in this new body forever right? Watching enough fantasy series and soap operas have taught me that there could still be so much more that they could do with this plot like with the DNA results, the body itself (we never saw the face!🧐)etc….. And don’t forget that fortune teller, this character must’ve still had other purposes that need to serve, I guess he could come back with a plot twist for Joe……..

I really hate this episode's adaptation of Joe's exposure in the old house. In the novel, Joe came alone， for his father's martial arts competition trophy. That's why Ming was 100% sure that the man in front of him was his Joe. Because no thief would steal an old trophy that was worthless, and it was a broken one. Joe directly said that Ming was a mistake, and when ming rushed over to kiss him emotionally, he kicked ming hard and ran away. It was late at night, and there was no one on the street. Joe ran all the way, and when he couldn't run anymore, he leaned against the telephone pole and gasped and cried silently. Although Ming did not explain his mistake about the view of back when confronting Joe in the old house, But he told Joe that he had wanted to have a serious relationship with him before the Christmas when Joe left.. He also explained why he refused to move out and opposed Joe's participation in that movie because he disliked Sol's contact with Joe.. Ming admitted that he was wrong at the beginning and shouldn't have helped Dong to treat Joe so cruelly. This time Joe didn't stubbornly think that Ming loved Dong , he just felt that it was meaningless, the impact Ming brought to him made him feel complicated and sad. Joe didn't need sol’s preaching at all, no matter if he fell into the same trap again later, he was sober at this moment. Joe suffered two major blows in his life, one was when he found out that Ming saw him as a substitute, and the other was when he confirmed his own death. He ran away both times without any hesitation in the novel. I think it's a pity that the part where Joe was exposed in the old house was not filmed according to the plot of the novel.

I didn't watch ep.9 but 😅 I'm still standing at the same opinion, i don't want joe to get back to him this easily 😢 but i know already even before ep.10 teaser that they'll end up together , this ming is so annoying he is sooooo possessive he will never let joe go😢❤ and that's annoying me sooo much 😢 i didn't want him to win him back easily at least let him suffer for 3 or 4 episodes fir god sake 😢😂 till the last episode

3:43 Yes, these people always telling him what to do 😡. He is a grown man & can make his own decisions 🤨. 30:50 I cant stand Sol either. He is so annoying 😒. Yes, Ming is something else but Sol is not that good either. If he is by Joe's side by being just a good friend, thats fine. But his intention is not that pure. Just like Ming who don't take no for answer, Sol continuously shooting his shot despite being rejected couple of times by Joe is bad too.

I don't want happy ending and all goody goody. Fine Ming had a misunderstanding about who tf's back he was in love with but he was still inhuman to Joe so Joe shouldn't forgive and forget. I'm fine if Ming tries to make up and they end up on friendly terms but going back to loving him .... mmm NO! But seems like next ep they are back. 🙄
