Today I'm talking about build wealth, serious wealth! It used to be that £1m was the target however now that will struggle you get you a decent house in most places south of Peterborough. The minimum every business owner should be aiming for is £10,000,000 net worth. For me this is business and property investments, the assumption on this target is that one can get a reasonable return of 5-10% giving an income for life of £500,000 - £1,000,000 forever, and this wealth can be passed on for generations to come.
The biggest part of this strategy is reducing how much is going out in taxes and increasing how much you can invest. This is exactly how I'm doing it, and it's how 100's others are too.

Hi Joshua, It is good to know your strategy. As hundreds of landlords are quitting the rental market every month, what are you doing and will be doing in future, to counter the constant war and mitigate the impacts, waged by govt and council against the private landlords, like Eviction Bans, Short/Long Term Rent Controls, Free Legal Support to Tenants and numerous other law changes to make tenants supremely powerful and making landlords weaker and weaker with each law change. We will be very interested to know your take on this, as acquiring private property in UK seems to be your favourite strategy from this video. Thanks.

Hi Joshua, I hope you’re well. How can I apply parts of this strategy - when I need to have trading companies in the UK and not just an investment Co in the UK?

Real estate is a “safe” investment also index funds, stocks with high dividends yields could be good alternatives. Maybe you could expand of this investment alternative as well. With 2.5m pounds invested over 5 years you would definitely achieve 10m in net assets. Still long way for us mortal to achieve 1m profit per year. Like you said in the previous video, baby steps first (100k) and then the whole pie.

If you are working in dubai, how are you getting around UK mortgages if they ask you for job proof like bank statements or are you bugying all your uk properties with cash?

If I loan my ltd company £200,000 as a director and the company buys a property for renting out. Does the company have to pay corporation tax before any repayments back to me?

In the UK no. However if you charged interest on the loan the company can claim a deduction for interest paid but not repayment of the capital on the loan. But the interest would be taxable on you personally and the company will be required to withhold 20% in WHT.

I currently do exactly this, I set up SPV companies to purchase properties which are funded by directors loans. Corporation tax is only paid after I’ve received all of my loan back. Which by then you refinance the property and pull the equity out on a mortgage which is also classed as dept of which the company can then reinvest into more property
