My Top 5 Hikes of 2023! Hiking Maine - New Hampshire - Washington State

I decided that since I'm at home with an injured knee that I would make a 'Top 5 Hikes of 2023' compilation video. It was hard to choose just 5 because I have so many favorites.. I can't wait for my knee to heal so I can start building up my strength again and get back out there! You can see more details on my previous video on my recent hiking injury.

I prefer trails in Maine and Vermont, if we are being honest. New Hampshire is for bragging rights but those mountains are too big, too rocky, too much granite, less variety of trees with more evergreens and pine dominating the landscape, and the swimming holes in New Hampshire are usually ice cold so you can't enjoy them for any extended period unless it's blazing hot. I guess I'm biased because Maine and Vermont have amazing swimming holes. But the Autumn and Fall are better too in ME AND VT.

You had some good adventures in 2023. More to come once that knee heals up! What's the name of that tune during the Mt. Jefferson section? I used that in a video once and forgot about it.
