Here's my 5 must haves. DJI Extension Rod (no need for wide lenses). DJI Audio Adapter, a Small Ulansi Tripod with a Ulansi base fitted (for time lapses) and a PGY Tech cover for the gimbal when mounted on the Extension Rod but not being used. I have the Wifi adapter but don't really use it, as I seldom mount my phone on the Ex Rod. Anyway loved the vlog and have subbed.

Cool thanks for the video I just ordered the better case and the selfie stick through your links exactly what I needed because I already have the wheel and the wireless module also I have the free well wide lens much better and I have the polar pro ND filters which make it so much of a better camera thanks again

From what I hear the Freewell is much better. I will do a side by side test when I can get hold of one in Canada.

It’s almost a year since you published your video. There are many changes since then. Perhaps you can do an update? I find the DJI Expansion Rod is a great solution making the scroll wheel obsolete. I connect my Pocket to my phone with a 1’ Lighting to USB C connector and it works better than the WiFi adapter! Thanks for the video.

The gopro mount works pretty well if you just mount it to the bottom of the osmo so It doesn't block the connectors or the buttons. I use it every day! :)

is there by now maybe a solution how to carry and put away my osmo pocket without taking off my wide lense?. im searching for a solution where the lense is all the time mounted but protected and im able to pull out the camera and start shooting immidiatly without taking out the lense box and mounting and unmounting etc etc… sry my english but i think you know what i mean. :)

If you want the wide angle lens go with FREEWELL and btw DJI has fixed it and now you can put it on before turning the pocket on. I bought the wide angle lens in this video and it sucked.

Does the wireless connector connects with bluetooth or wifi?

If I understand correctly, it uses bluetooth to find the phone, then forms a link with wifi. So after it connects and you see the video stream, that is all wifi.

Oh yes, the wireless module creates its own network that your phone connects to. It does not use cellular data or the internet.

Ulanzi has blurred edges. Get the Aboom 0.6. HD Wide-Angle. The fit is snug to the edges of the Osmo. The best feature is NO BLURRED EDGES. Crisp sharp edges. You’ll never look back. Aboom got it right. The way it should have been with Ulanzi and other wide lens 3rd party companies. This lens from Aboom is selling at amazon for 14.95. Thank me later.

Roo's Views :lol, thats why no one has heard of it. There is no review on youtube. I relentlessly searched for wide-angle lens on amazon. I knew someone had to have a better one. I found aboom. It still only has 10 reviews a video inserted and some pics from buyers. Based on the video at amazon I decided to take the chance. I’m glad I did. This puppy is going to find plenty of use. The edges do have a slight curve typical of wide lenses but NO blurry edges. And the fit is perfect. Right to inner edge. Which means even stills come out sharp with no dark edges or blurred edges. ULANZI OP-5 wide angle lens I wouldn't recommend anyone buying as I did and don't like it, waiting on the Freewell Gear one as they say that's better. I will see ..

The Ulanzi wide angle lens is shit. Freewell just came out with one that is much better with no blurring.

But until then it's going to give great service, it's a great little camera. Most products have limited lives nowadays. In the time I have had my Pocket, I have also had a Go-Pro Hero 5 & 7 both broken and neither were used for anything more than daily vlogging. The Osmo continues to give great service and when it does finally die. I will go back to DJI and not Go-Pro!

Such a shame the Pocket is so poorly designed. Most of those accessories should have been built in to a slightly larger device. Oh well!

Yeah, I imagine the Osmo Pocket’s successor will have wifi and a controller wheel built in. Hopefully 240fps and a 1/4” socket on the bottom also. If they made the body wider the display could be larger and the battery could be higher capacity. I wouldn’t want the body to be longer, though.
