My only suggestion for those Pit Bosses is to make sure you cover 'em and keep them out of the elements and stored under a awning or something. They're notorious for rusting out because the high temp powder coated paint they use goes out quick. High Heat Spray Paint by Rustoleum, the clear one works wonders.

I like my pit boss, have the Laredo 1000. My two gripes are, severe hot spots in the grill and how long it takes to heat. Once it gets to temp it holds it real well. The one thing i think pellet grills dont really do well in general is actually smoke meat. I have to use a smoke tube to get smoke flavor. The pit boss app is fun. See meat temps and adjust when you are doing other things.

Pit Boss way better and their customer service is top with warranty. I have been using Pit Boss for over ten years now. I use the Pit Boss Memphis and the Pit Boss Copperhead 3. Holds temps better then Traeger and to me built better and cost less.

Amen to that brother. I wish I knew that to begin with, but I did get my Traeger before. Any other pellet grill was ever out on the market.
