2A is seriously a problem in the US because even criminals or people with mental health can get guns by stealing from someone they know or get a Dela with a corrupt dealer and then start doing a terrible crime like mass shooting. but anyways. if there were no guns, criminals would use other weapons like pipes, knives or a dagger to kill innocent people. or simply use a car to ram into innocent civilians. UK has the same problem with knife attacks and gangs because the mayor of Londonistan is a Pakistani Muslim asshole.

As someone who lives in America for over 30 year's, yeah some part's aren't perfect. Major cities are usually filled with homeless and junkies, but the small rural towns are what makes America great/fun and worth checking out. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, hopefully if you come back check out the smaller town's of America.

Too many of them are very ignorant on cultural issues and political issues. Yea, it seems fun from the outside looking in and definitely is fun as a country to visit. But if you're there long enough, you'll see why America is not a good place to live, espcially if you're middle class. Not to mention the sociopathic government hates its workers and spends almost all of the tax money on yachts, mansions, and their already overpowered military while the majority of workers get only breadcrumbs. We also have an overly expensive healthcare system and insurance companies and corporations literally own everything. You need to have a good chunk of certain privileges to have a greater chance of succeeding in America. So yea, America is definitely a good place to visit. But if you want somewhere to live, research other countries. Because while there are definitely worse places than America, but there are also better places than America. ❤

Glad you liked our state. Australia and Texas have always resonated with one another. And now that you have been to California, you know just exactly why so many of us look at them with suspicion when they move over here and why we tell them to leave their politics over there. We sure as hell don’t want them turning our state into a copy of what they left behind. They’ll do it too. I used to go very frequently to Austin when I was a boy. It doesn’t look anything like what it used to look back in the 1990s. This is not the Austin Stevie Ray Vaughan would’ve recognized.

My wife, from Perth, is the most popular person ever in this area, and now she's going to Western Alaska to work in villages they beg her to just stay there, forever, so they can hear her talk. You won't have to worry about whether you pull off a joke, they'll love it, just to hear you talking. Also handy when you get pulled over, as Aussies are shyte drivers, you will just be given a warning when the cop hears your accent.

I lived in Manhattan for 25 years and took the subway all the time without feeling scared. The only shoot-up I ever encountered was at the Zoi station in Berlin, where we heard the pops as the subway slowed down into the station, we saw the crowd quickly disperse, and then saw a bloodied dead man lying next to our opened doors. Also, as a power wheelchair user: I’m not overweight, but there are many other reasons people legitimately use these tools to ambulate besides being paralyzed. I have borderline severeME/CFS (profound fatigue) and dysautonomia where my blood pressure plummets if I stand too long. Others may have painful joints or dizziness issues, etc. Glad you like our imperfect, problem-ridden country!

I didn’t know what was going on at the time, I just knew my dad was rushing us back to a subway terminal. The one we went to was blocked off so we turned around and went back down to the same subway terminal we came out of. We had a guardian angel that day who followed us till we got on the subway and was safe. He was watching out for us to make sure nothing bad happened to us. I didn’t notice him but my dad did. Suffice it to say we never did make it to the stadium.

Someone I didn't know jumped into the conversation and let me know that they knew my friend better than I did (because 2 years of co-workership trumps a 6 year friendship) and that he had the right to find himself and change (fair enough) AND ALSO, I WAS NOT TO CALL IT "SAN FRAN", BECAUSE THAT'S NOT RIGHT. Two weeks later, I'm watching a film set in San Francisco where a character who grew up in the city calls it "San Fran". Apparently, he's the most authentic character in the film and natives love him. Color me confused, but I'm pretty much convinced I've lost my friend to some kind of cult.

It was a pleasure to have you in the Motherland of our Americas. So obviously I'm from Texas but I live in California, I've been to S.F and was at Disney land 3 weeks ago. You are so right with everything you said about all of it, the homeless population is beyond correctible at this point in L.A and S.F should be given to the homeless, just give it to them and change the name to Gotham. In 51 years I have never seen so many fat people, these people will eat anything and everything, I used to be a lazy fat body and now I'm not, these people are just how their leaders want them to be so they can keep treating laziness with alcohol, drugs and empty promises, just sad.
