I take medication for my adhd, and go to behavioral therapy to help me with executive dysfunction, like establishing better patterns for self motivation. Autism is on a spectrum, but there are certain types of therapy that can help those who have more trouble with social interaction. Both conditions can be debilitating, but there are absolutely things that can be done to improve one’s behavior (if that’s a primary concern) and manage the symptoms. And it’s on us to try to improve our lives and work towards better habits; I know firsthand that not addressing it and just living with the dysfunction is no way to exist in this world.

And I do agree there are ways to help manage and therapy can REALLY make a huge impact in learning to “face the disability” so to speak but it’s still not something you “overcome” in the sense you of leaving it behind. It’s with you for life. Medication for me started to have a negative effect and made me almost commit suicide and hurt those around me (diagnosed with depression since, I don’t agree with this diagnosis). The chemical fuck up in my brain from popping pills that are supposed to help me has basically ruined my life more than the disability ever did. Atm the only thing that seems to help the most, without any serious side effects is cannabis, specifically high THC concentrate syrup for when symptoms are bad and high concentrate CBD products for daily management. Unfortunately I can’t get it legally In the uk (yet), even tho my doctor has actually tried . There’s a government program to apply for such medication, but it’s highly “locked off” and usually they only accept those that either go private or have serious life threatening conditions.

The best thing for a young man to do in today's age honestly Is just avoid social media like TikTok, Twitter etc. KZfaq is fine because you can effectively select what you view and it can be educational. But outside of that, social media is just this super feminised environment where denigration of men and masculinity is not only normalised, but celebrated. And if you speak out about that fact, well, you're just exemplifying your "fragile masculinity". Cue the "world's tiniest violin" because the entire male gender and their problems are worth nought but mockery! I spent a while trying to engage productively with the woman that espouse these views but it's pointless. They don't actually want discussion, anything you do or say they simply use to further deride and mock. We cannot change their minds. Better to just disengage entirely and let them wallow in their own bitterness. If men collectively stopped trying to engage with these women, and refrained from stooping play the game on their terms, these women would be screeching into the void, an echo chamber of other bitter women with nothing better to do that mock men for their height, hair, dick size, whatever.

@@harrypike5140 I agree 100%. Letting random strangers on the internet project their trauma onto others is only going to make people hate unnecessarily. Do I think some men are bad people? Of course. Same can be said for some women. And non binary people, I guess. I don’t let someone’s skin color/race or gender define whether someone’s a good person or a bad person. It’s simple.

@@amostrask1370 while I agree with you to an extent with her reactions to the dudes negatively talking about "body positivity", the rest of the content she criticizes is on males demeaning women for their insecurities (mind you, they generalize instead of pointing out a specific woman so it's not that bad) and it goes to the extent of only comparing them to cartoon characters and state that their jokes get repetitive and gain little traction.
