Ya man, the kick sounded money!!! Really liked how it sounded with that clear emperor on the top as well! Even without any dampening on the kick batter it didn't sound to live at all. I was surprised!

Quite a production ! Nice work. I try to use no more than seven mic's to capture the kit, which can be a challenge. I've used the KSM32 as an outer kick mic with very good results.

Nice video. I think that’s a Sennheiser MD441-U. I don’t think Shure ever made that mic.

To me, your drums sound very good, commercially I would say. However, I should note that the room and equipment you use is more in line with small commercial studios than amateurs. Let me say that you do not have a home studio, but rather a full-fledged studio where you live. Of course, I think it's wonderful. If you could share a multitrack of the example you recorded, I would be very grateful to you. This would allow me to directly compare your samples with what I was able to obtain in my own conditions. And thank you very much for pointing out the importance of the stereo room drum track, I thought that is like a luxury and not really neсessary. If you decide to make a similar video how to recording overdriven electric guitars, it will also be very interesting and usefull. Thank you for the work done - your style of presentation and camera work are very successful. I am from the post-Soviet space, my English is so-so, but your materials are perceived by me well.
