Love the routine! I love using a foam instead of a spray as I found it adds more moisture to help the clumps clump back together if they broke apart. Cake Beauty mousse paired with curlsmith volume foam have been my fave combo for volume and definition!

Have u ever tried plopping overnight and the defusing in the morning? I wake up super early and don’t often have time for a shower in the morning, but if your hair is wet for super long periods, is that bad for your curls?

ok so i have a question for everyone so ive always had frizzy hair and wavy hair sometime last year i got a hair cut and i decided to try the curly girl method amd my hair came out very wavy i wanna say from like 2B-3A. so i stopped doing the curly girl method like 3 months ago and got back into it and my hair was definitely less defined but still had definition. then i discovered the curling iron lol. and i was using that for about a month and the last time i used it which was like 3 weeks ago some of my hair was sizzling so i decided to switch to the curly girl method completely. so it’s been about 3 weeks and my hair feels healthier and i dont think my hair was affected because when i shower it’s still wavy and when i plop my hair it looks very wavy almost curly but all of a sudden i diffuse my hair and my hair isn’t as wavy like i’ll have some of my hair wavyer than other strands idk if it’s how i’m diffusing or it’s cuz my hair is really long or if it’s just cuz maybe i’m using so much product but if anybody is reading please help im super confused. Edit: also ik i don’t have straight hair cuz looking back at pictures of when i was younger i’ve had wavy hair and when i air dry my hair without any product it’s still wavy
