I listen to audiobooks at 2× speed, I can go much faster but 2 works for me and I only speed it up if I hate the book and just want it over. (I almost never dnf) I'm currently reading Heidi by Johanna Spyri bc I saw it in your haul and really enjoying it!

Yeah that’s a good point. When listening to 2+x speed it makes DNF much more rare.

Oh rock on with Heidi. I have a children’s abbreviated version I read to my kids and wanted to get the full length book.

Well a longer version. I don’t think the great illustrated classics are full length.
