As a wheelchair user, thank you for being "enthusiastically vigilant" when it comes to other drivers using disabled parking bays without a Blue Badge (or the US equivalent) - much appreciated!! 😊

I know this is lighthearted and funny, but Kim's "I will get on you if you park in a handicap spot though (without something that allows you to be there) made my heart happy as a disabled person. Thanks for looking out for us, Kim!

You need to be very careful about "policing" handicap spots. Too many disabled people get harassed because they don't appear the way people expect them too.

@@ZoeJasper9I was just coming on here to say that. I'm disabled and because I'm not in a wheelchair I deal with this shit every single time I leave my house and I'm sick of it. There are places I don't feel safe going because of this. I love that people have their hearts in the right place, but no, just NOOOOOO. I'll put it this way - I have only ever pulled up on ONE single solitary non-disabled person using disabled facilities in all my years of disability but EVERY time I'm out of my house I get shit on for using the facilities THAT I NEED. People need to calm TF down with policing disability. Thank you for adding your voice to this.

@@burnyizland they're specifically talking about the parking spots where you're only supposed to use them if you have an official placard. You're talking about bathrooms, which is a totally different thing. Yes of course it's wrong for people to be judgy, but that's not what the Holdernesses are doing and not what ToLoveIsToLive89 is talking about, so your comment doesn't apply and is unfair.

@@angela_flute52689 I'm talking about both actually, and more. I get yelled at over parking spots and I have my placard. Sometimes 'well meaning' idiots will block my coming or going from my vehicle while they yell, which has resulted in me fainting and injuring myself more than once. My partner who drives me because I can't drive myself is continually harassed while he waits in the car while I'm doing what I need to get done. I'm also talking about handicapped seating, handicapped store carts(those scooters with a basket attached), all kinds of things other than just parking spots. I have every right to speak up for myself and my experiences. Many of the same people who go on the attack about parking spots are also militant about all these things, it's not one isolated thing and you don't get to dictate what matters.

This reminds me of me and my girlfriend shopping for her grandkids. She will tell me to find something I think they will like and then do the "No that's too old for them", "No, that's too young for them", "No they might find that scary" routine. I finally just give up and say, "Alright YOU find something they would like and I will buy it." 😆

Wheelie user here.... I like the way you ROLL!😎 Thanks, thanks ALOT! Shopping is a hassle AND a workout because your pushing a cart above the height of your shoulders. If we can't get a handicap spot we actually have to park at the WAY back of the lot just to make sure we can get in/ out of our vehicles. # go vigilante girl!

I have had several people tell me "That's a handicap parking spot," and I replied, "I know." They would stand there until I parked and hung my placard from the rearview mirror, then walk away muttering. I guess I "looked too young" to have a disability. 🤔

No, it is probably because so many healthy people take advantage of handicap parking using someone else in their families placards. I know several in my own family who ALWAYS use a severely disabled nieces placard EVERYTIME they go ANYWHERE, but never can be bothered to take her anywhere. They get mad at me because when we go out to eat (and she is with us) I drop them off/pick up in the front and refuse to park in a handicap spot.
