🎈 Happy birthday Shakespeare Locked Down 🎂
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic all of my acting work got cancelled and I felt lost, so I set myself the task of learning all 154 of Shakespeare's sonnets (as of writing this, I have 104 sonnets memorised). On 26th March 2020 I posted my first Shakespeare Locked Down video and to help viewers understand Shakespeare's language the sonnet was followed by a translation into modern English.
Almost one year later to the day my 100th sonnet video will go online, so I decided to make this compilation to celebrate.
This video doubles as a timeline of my journey through this pandemic. The translations have got more creative and absurd over time and I am proud of every single Shakespeare video I have made.

Congrats, Ashley Shiers. I became your big fan in the process. My town, Curitiba has a very nice drama Festival in March, every year. (In normal times, that is.) Why don't you bring these sonnets and your translations so we can watch you in 2022? That would be amazing!
