Mya visited the BPM Supreme office in San Diego, CA. She previewed some new music and sat down for an interview and discussed how Ol Dirty Bastard picked her for Ghetto Superstar. She also spoke about being in the studio with Wyclef, her biggest mentors and much more.

ODB went to a session that wasn’t his Didn’t even what state he was in rap in a song that wasn’t his & decided who was gunna be in a song for a album that wasn’t his GENIUS!!! Rest In Peace Dirt🙏🙏🙏

I thought that was the story too - but May just said that ODB was the ‘main instructor’ putting it together - so how would that work if he wasn’t even supposed to be on it - I also heard Wyclef say he invited him - so I think maybe this story has been a little ‘Mystified’!?!

She should do voice overs... Whatever you call it when people do the voice for audio books & such. She has a very pleasurable voice...soothing. I always knew she can sing but she has a great voice period...And, it's not faded away one bit, same as her beauty.

Maya has always been genuinely beautiful,when I was a kid I was in "love" with her😍🤪😂💯. I haven't seen on TV for years and she is still fine, I really think she is better looking than a lot of people who are in thier early or mid twenties now, and she has always had a really good voice as well ,I wonder why she didn't have much more success because she had all the talent, don't get me wrong she was successful enough but someone maybe she could of gone to the real top with a bit more of whatever it is that they didn'tthinkshe had, like I said though she just never has quite made it but she is definitely still gorgeous ,and I bet she can still make ur heart jump just by singing, (And who knows know I'm not a little boy anymore and I'm all grown up now ,maybe she will give me a chance,🤔 I know as if but I can still dream can't I❤📌💥😂) 💯✌👊😎

MYA didnt write any chart landing song from fear of flying - Fofflying had song writers that wrote them - MYA wrote a B side song on the back side of the cassette but she didnt write case of the ex tricky stewart and hale did . love is like woa was written and produced by missy elliot . ( here mya tries to mislead the viewing audience)

She either is ignorant to where they ripped the chorus from or intentionally not paying homage to who created the chorus in the first place, which is Dolly Parton's and Kenny Rogers's "Islands in a stream" which they created decades prior.

She probably didn't know that. I actually heard those words for the first time maybe 3 years ago myself... and I was like, that sounds like the hook from Ghetto Supastar, but of course, it sounded different because that's a country song. Don't put Mya down like that, dude. She is clearly intelligent and dignified, thank you very much. She said she was 18 and was called in to sing a chorus. You think she got the backstory to who came up with all of the elements of the song? Save your criticism for Pras - it's his damn song, maybe if you asked him, he could tell you where those lyrics and the melody came from... clearly, it held to the same melody and lyrics, but with a hip hop spin.
