Today is Christmas 2022. I was diagnosed on Tuesday December 20th. From smoldering to multiple myeloma . I started th steroids and on January 3 I start the 1st infusion for the next eight weeks. My attitude is good but not sure what I’ll be like when this starts. You are encouraging me. Thank you.. marsha

Hope you are getting on ok Marsha? I would be interested to know because I am currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment in preparation for a stem cell transplant. I am 68 and was MGUS for about 10 years before it became smouldering. Best wishes.

Hi Samira. I was fortunate to be diagnosed early via a blood test. I did develop Lytic Lesions in my bones before starting chemo but it's now 2019 and I'm still in remission. Please see my Just Giving page John-Collins37
