Very helpful video. There are some errors in your tutorial though. 1) There is a missing elvish spearmen in the initial army placement. It should be in the region adjacent to the western mountain pass. 2) War band states that you can place 2 orcs an 2 leadership tokens in a Shadow army in a broken lands region. You placed them in an empty region. In terms of strategic tips I would say never activate Gandalf on turn 1. Activate the other 3 generals and recruit as much as possible. There are 5 fate tiles that have a number of 1. You want the Shadow player to pull some of them out before playing the fate game.

This game looks so nice! Having played War of the Ring I know the rules might feel tricky at first. After a while one do rermember what the different die-results do etc though- don't worry.

I just purchased this game over Christmas and am still getting the hang of it, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of its complexity so far. Seeing a turn played out in like this is very helpful. If you don’t mind, I wanted to put out a question for all/anyone who has more experience with the game, since I literally have no one else to ask: I’m finding Bilbo’s character card and the Warg-rider maneuver cards a bit difficult to understand and use. For example, if one effectively plays the Warg-rider card while attacking an army in a fortification, does that mean they tear through the fortification as well, until there’s only 1 damage token left (or is the damage only applied to the army)? If Bilbo is in that defending army, can the Free People’s player use his ability to mitigate some of the Wargs’ damage? And does Bilbo regain a full stack of 5 ring tokens every time you put him back into play, or does he only have 5 tokens to be used throughout the game? If anyone could clarify, I’d very much appreciate it. Thanks, and happy gaming!
